Lila and her pup, Ruby, need a ride from Moose Jaw to Martensville ASAP as their foster family has had something come up unexpectedly and they need to be moved. Anyone headed on a trip and able to bring the sweethearts along or looking to foster some awesome dogs? Let us know ❤️🐾

This is a pic of just SOME dogs CURRENTLY in need of saving in Sandy Bay. There has been an EVACUATION and that means some dogs left behind, some strays have been left to fend, dogs in heat and fighting and puppies born.

WE WANT TO HELP but we still have dogs still needing homes from La Loche, we need funds to help support the exiting dogs and if we have any hope of taking any in. We will not give up on any dogs that we have agreed to support but we need help! We need to get our existing crew out of foster homes and adopted and if any of these guys have a chance we need new foster homes and volunteers.

We have been in contact with the Sandy Bay local RCMP and only essential services are allowed in so we have to work WITH communities to save any lives. Let’s support! We need foster homes, funds for our current and and possible others. We need help to help them!

Foxtails have started to make their presence known again and are thriving in many areas of SK!

This w**d-type grass is very menacing. It develops seeds that are intended to burrow into the ground; however, they can burrow anywhere on your pet:
🐾 inside ears,
🐾 into the skin or coat,
🐾 in their paws,
🐾 or even when swallowed or inhaled, into gums, palates, tongue, throat, etc.

These are some of the common places.

Please keep an eye out for these pesky hitchhikers the next time your pet comes in from outside! 🌾🌾🌾

🐾 **Canine Life and Social Skills: Strengthening the Bond Between You and Your Dog** 🐾

We’re excited to announce our upcoming classes, designed to train and enhance the relationship between humans and their canine companions. Our sessions are engaging and creative, incorporating games and prizes to make learning fun and effective. At the end of the program, dogs and their handlers will undergo evaluation and testing to earn their certification.

We’re thrilled to welcome Michelle Spark from All Things K9 Training as our interim instructor! With a diploma in Animal Sciences and Business Management, Michelle has been a professional dog trainer since June 2015 and is a member of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Drawing on her 13 years of experience in animal welfare and rescue, she believes there is no such thing as a bad dog, only opportunities for people and their dogs to learn and grow together.

Michelle specializes in the Canine Life and Social Skills program, using positive techniques to strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners. Her engaging and supportive training sessions include fun games and exciting prizes, making the learning experience enjoyable and effective. She works with dogs of all ages, guiding each dog and handler team through evaluations and testing to help them earn their certification. Known for her magic touch in molding a dog’s behavior, Michelle builds positive experiences and promotes strong human-canine relationships.

📅 Classes are open to dogs aged 4.5 months and older, with full vaccination required for participation.

🐾 Help Needed at Paws Republic Camp! 🌿

Hey everyone! Our furry friends at Paws Republic Camp love exploring our trails, but the grass has grown wild and we need some help to get it back in shape. If you have some free time and would like to lend a hand, we’d really appreciate it!

🗓️ When: CAMP OPEN DAILY 6:30AM - 7:30PM
📍 Where: Camp Paws Republic

Bring your gloves, tools, and enthusiasm! You can bring your own equipment or use our push mower and w**d whacker. Every bit of help counts, and our dogs will thank you with wagging tails and happy barks.
