It’s been quite the weeks. Only a few more ladies to go. Two of the highlights. The single lamb is pure white dorper. Her paint brush seems to have been a bit confused. And another triplet set of Romanov x WhiteDorper joined us yesterday.

We welcomed a new set of F1 Romanov xWhite Dorper triplets yesterday. 2 boys and a very speckled girl. 13 lambs now on the ground. The ladies are getting large!

Lambing has officially begun!! A dried off and fed ram lamb greeted me this morning. One Romanov ewe on deck. Stay tuned for updates. 🐑🐑

The time is almost here!! Eeek! Saturday is 150 days 🐑🐑
I am expecting this Romanov ewe to be the first to kick off this lambing group. How many little white buns are cooking in the oven?

It’s Breeding Season at WD Farms.

We sorted our breeding groups into 2 this year as we will changing rams for 2021 and wanted to give all 3 boys 1 last go round

Group on the far side consists of non reg WDs and the 6 reg Romanovs we recently purchased. They say Romanov will bred when you want them to so I’ll make the first cover for June 10 😉

The near group is our registered WDs and a few bigger non reg WDs

Exciting News!!
Phyllis has received a scholarship to participate in Five Mary’s M5 Entrepreneurs Academy. This program helps business owners grow their business from the ground up through networking and encouragement from a group of like minded people. In a world that is becoming even more digitized, learning the ins and out of social media is essential and we hope to use social media to showcase what we do.
We can’t wait to work on the fundamentals of growing WD Farms to meet our goals

Yesterday we got the ladies a new set of wheat sheets. They are definitely comfortable. We have a few rams lamb ready to ship next week and then we will start planning for breeding season! 🐑🐑
