Luca and Quincy are pending

These 4 puppies are now up for adoption! They are chihuahua Maltese x and will be ready for their new home on November 21. They will be 10 weeks old, spay/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and tattooed. The mom is daisy and she is a 3year old chihuahua. She will also be spayed on November 21. These puppies are very well socialized and very playful. Adopted!

This adorable boy is Leo, he came from a very loving family but they just fell short on the time they got to spend with him. He is very well trained and gets along with dogs cats and kids. He loves walks, doesn’t bark and has really polite manners. He is an 8 year old Maltese, who is neutered vaccinated dewormed and microchipped. Yes he is also hypoallergenic. Meet our new auction rescues!

Bo is a 13yr old big red roan gelding. By the looks of it he recently ruptured his eye, which will have to be removed. He seems very sweet and gentle.

Archer is an untouched pony yearling stud with a very spicy personality.

We are trying to raise money for these two rescues. Estimated quotes.

The Appaloosa pony and her seeing eye Mule

Ida is a mule that came from a Rodeo in Alberta. We found Ida in the stocks at the rodeo with tin cans of coins tied to her. They were trying to scare her to turn her into a bronc mule to do a side show where the rodeo clowns were gonna buck her out. She looked so scared so they let us purchase her and take her back home. With how sensitive mules are she never regained her trust in humans again. Ida is around 14 years old and will eat treats out of our hands and will walk in a halter and lead but she doesn’t enjoy being touched or pet. She only prefers the company of other animals. Ida has been such a good mule, she gets along with every horse on the farm but with being almost untouchable we placed her into permanent care. We put Ida in with our herd of horses that were never leaving and she was accepted right in.

A few years later Judith was found and saved from the Westlock auction. Judith was blind and heavily in foal being run through the auction. We bid on her against the meat buyer as there was no way we were gonna let a blind pregnant mare stand in those meat pens with multiple horses waiting to die. When we got Judith home we let her settle and get accustomed in a small pen so she could have her baby. Judith is 15 years old and after a few days we realized she was completely untouched, not halter broke and scared of people. Later on she had a beautiful c**t who we named Mukluk. We did leave Mukluk with his mom for much longer than we normally would as Mukluk was helping Judith find her way and they were comfortable with each other. We wanted to let Judith into the pasture but she needed some security from another horse that she was bonded with. Mukluk and Judith could only last so long together though as Mukluk needed to wean and start his new life. We knew from the beginning that Judith was going to be placed into permanent care but we needed another animal that she could spend the rest of her life with. Sometimes bonding horses can be difficult and we don’t have a lot of permanent care animals.

Judith and Ida

We put Judith in our under 3 year old pasture so she had less chance of getting picked on by the older horses and that way Mukluk could still be a baby and play with other horses his age. But then came the time for them to be separated. This was a bit hard to watch for a few people as Judith was all by herself again. We ended up finding a few horses that she bonded with over time but then they would get adopted or leave for training. We finally decided to try Ida as we knew she was never leaving. We moved Ida into our herd of babies with Judith and it was almost instant. They immediately bonded and became best friends. Ida soon became Judiths seeing eye mule. They are now inseparable and they will live out their best lives together for as long as they live.

If anybody wants to donate towards Judith and Ida or towards any of the other horses we have in care, winter is coming up and we have already started buying our hay. We would love some help with our horse, the donation will go towards feed, vet bills, farrier and maintenance. We accept PayPal or e-transfers to [email protected].

She’s a 6 year old Thoroughbred mare around 15.3hh. She’s been rode English and Western but would make a great jumping prospect. She’s being rode consistently at a jumping barn in Ardrossan and will be started over jumps next week. She’s been in a herd with mares and geldings and gets along with them great. She’s easy to catch with a bucket of grain and good on the fences. She’s used to kids dogs farm equipment and doesn’t spook. She’s been dentalled vaccinated dewormed and coggins tested. She’s great for the farrier and easy to trailer. Share this post if you know anyone that would like to adopt Sparrow.
