We have a new cabin up and running! Introducing Meadowlark #5! Remember our children's horse camp? Well, this was their old digs. Matt has done a complete reno and it's looking mighty fine! Be sure and post the link to anyone you know coming to the area - it's inexpensive and sleeps up to six (or more if you use the floor) And best of all, we're near the east gates of Algonquin Park, with horseback riding and hiking trails on site. (That doesn't even count the three nearby beaches, kayaking, and atv trails)

Hey everyone! This crazy warm weather means we've opened the horseback riding back up - and one rental cabin is available until January 15th. Two mares for sale. Island Time HWT (Furstbishof x Jacardo) out of an imported KWPN mare. Started at as a three year old easily. I have video of that for serious buyers - she was cantering on the fourth ride. Sent to broodmare pen where she produced three outstanding offspring. Her dam was an outstanding camp horse and excellent over fences until she was 20 and then retired to live and ride with a senior citizen. We are getting out of the business and these are the two we saved in case we changed our minds.

How is everyone liking this warmer weather?

We had to put the sleds away 😭 but on the bright side, horseback riding is just round the corner!

If you haven't checked out our Cabin rentals, be sure and have a look! Very affordable glamping cabins, and each one is very private, no close neighbours. Wilderness fun!

I took these picture two weeks ago, how quickly things melted was amazing this year. I guess 27 degrees will do that!
