Happy Wet-Nose Wednesday, lovelies! Check out the beautiful pups we have been hanging out with this week. These darling babes are looking and smelling great, ready for snuggles on the couch while it shows and blows outside. We love it! ♥️🐾

Happy Howl-idays, everyone! Here are some beautiful lovelies who have stopped by lately, to brighten your social media feeds on this wet Wednesday. Rex, Aiden, Scruffy, Remi, Cash, and Mika are looking and feeling great and ready for winter couch cuddles ❤️🐾

A note on our holiday hours: aside from scheduled appointments on December 27th and 30th, the salon will be closed from December 24th to January 3rd while we enjoy time with our families. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! 🎄♥️

Huge thanks to all of our clients who have locked in their 2025 schedules so far - our Saturdays are officially fully booked. Any clients still requiring Saturday appointments are encouraged to reach out to their groomer ASAP to be added to a cancellation list, and we will see what we can do. We are so thankful to everyone who prebooks, things run so much more smoothly for everyone this way ❤️ 🐾

Coyotes

Our Facebook news feed has been full of questions and sad stories involving coyotes.
2 dogs in one week have been taken by Coyotes in Georgian Bluffs.

It's important to remember that much of the construction of new homes, businesses, etc are encroaching on what was first their homeland.
We've seen and heard them getting closer to residential areas more than we have in 6 years here. To me, that means they are getting hungry and desperate for food sources, whether that's a bunny in the field across the road, or your (even briefly) unsupervised pet on their own property.

We are very fortunate here that we have plenty of large dogs who patrol and mark the perimeter of our fenced yard on a daily basis. Even so, we have heard coyotes getting closer at night and yipping / howling as close as 500m in the surrounding farmlands.

Coyote or bear spray is a good option for safety when in nature, and we've attached some tips here for safety from ProjectCoyote.org

Dear clients and friends, we have some good news to share!

With the addition of two new emergency vet clinics to our area, we are once again able to offer Saturday grooming appointments! Woo-hoo!

We are opening our books for Saturdays in December, but they will be reserved for bath/tidy/nails appointments only in order to help us keep up with the demand for holiday Grooms. (This is your last reminder to book your December groom, as we are very short on availability already, huge thanks to everyone who has already booked! ❤️🐾)

For 2025, we will be scheduling for alternating Saturdays, and strongly encourage our clients who require Saturday schedules to prebook for 2025 in order to avoid disappointment. Thank you to all who have reached out already for schedules, we will have them for you ASAP!
