🐾 Barn/Shop or Acreage Homes Wanted! 🐾

We’ve got 3 sweet but shy cats looking for the perfect setup where they can live their best independent lives. They’re not the snuggly house-cat type — instead, they’d prefer a cozy barn, shop, or acreage with space to roam and do their own thing. Kerfuffle is a 1 y/o female, Tomfoolery and Skedaddle are both 2 y/o males. They are all spayed and neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. They're adoption fee's are $50 each. If you have the space, the three of them would love a home together!

✨ What they need:
A safe, weather-appropriate place to hang out, fresh food and water every day. Humans who don’t mind giving them their space.

✨ What they’ll give in return:
Top-notch pest control 🐭 and quiet, low-maintenance company

If you’ve got room on your property for a couple of furry helpers, these three would love the chance to settle in. 💛

📩 Contact our office 403-526-7722 if you’d like to give them the perfect barn home!

🌸🐾 Meet Mulberry! 🐾🌸

This sweet 2-month-old large breed mix is looking for a foster-to-adopt home where she can keep growing into the wonderful dog she’s meant to be.

Mulberry is crate-trained at night, potty trained (with a little encouragement), and even knows how to sit on command! She’s gentle and loving with kids, playful with other dogs, and has been the best buddy to her foster family’s lab.

She’s still a puppy, so she’s learning about the big world. Loud sounds, cars, and new people can make her nervous, but with patience and love, she’ll continue to build confidence. She loves sleeping under tables and chairs during the day, and settles into her crate at night.

Mulberry would do best in a home with another friendly dog to play with, she has not been around cats just yet. She’s not used to being left alone for long hours, so a family who’s home often would be perfect.

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loyal companion, Mulberry may just be your perfect match. 💕

📩 Send an email to [email protected] or contact our office 403-526-7722 if you’re interested in fostering-to-adopt this precious girl!

Caramel is ready to take over your heart and your couch. 😘

Want to welcome a little patchwork princess into your life? Meet Caramel, this weeks Week!

This beautiful little calico has a heart as sweet as her name, with just the right touch of classic calico cattitude! Caramel is friendly with humans and enjoys their company, though she prefers to be the only pet in the home. She hasn't been around children, but may do well with older, respectful kids who understand her boundaries.

Caramel is an independent girl who knows what she wants-and what she wants now is a forever home where she can finally be treated like the princess she is. Having been a young mom, she's more than earned her chance to relax, be pampered, and soak up all the love and comfort she deserves.

If you're looking for a gorgeous, affectionate, and sassy little companion to brighten your life, Caramel might just be the perfect match.

To arrange to meet her (or any of the amazing animals looking for their furrever home,) contact the Medicine Hat SPCA today!

Important Notice: Animal Surrender Waitlist 🐾📢

At the Medicine Hat SPCA, we understand that surrendering a pet is never an easy choice. We’re here to support both you and your animal through this process. However, due to the high number of animals already in our care, we are currently operating on a waitlist for all surrenders.

If you need to surrender a pet:
1️⃣ Contact Us Early – Call as soon as possible so we can discuss your situation and add you to the waitlist.
2️⃣ Plan Ahead – We are unable to accommodate same-day surrenders or drop-offs. Our space is limited, and we must ensure we have the resources to care for every animal we accept.
3️⃣ Explore Alternatives – We can provide advice, tools, and resources to help you care for your pet while waiting for a spot to open.
Our team works tirelessly to give each animal the time, care, and love they deserve. We kindly ask for your patience and respect when speaking with our staff. They are doing their best to help you in what we know can be a very difficult time.
