If you can handle the smell and sight of f***s and urine, uhm everywhere.... we're literally cleaning all day, everyday!! You'll also need to have a good idea of when and where to use a little bit of elbow grease 😉

Canine Reflections is proud to be your favourite pet care facility! Here, we pride ourselves in offering Doggy Daycare, Pet Styling, and we are also, your local Pet Bed and Breakfast! We offer a warm cozy place for your pet to lay their heads, and we also feed them supper, and you guessed it; breakfast! Plus we offer everything in between!! Here's a little about our pet B&B.

Each of our overnight suites are 4ft x 6ft, which is large enough for 2-3 pets from the same household. Plus! We supply bedding and blankets if you don't want to bring thiers. Of course you are welcome to bring thier own bedding, toys and any treats they would like to enjoy during thier stay! They are kept in their personal tote bin, with all their supply's and jewlery and they are only for your pet to enjoy while they are tucked away into their suite for the evening. We also supply their food bowls and water bowls, which are always disinfected between each guests stay.

During the day they play in our pack for daycare, and they are only in thier suites to sleep. They play so hard in daycare, that at the end of a long day they are excited for dinner and thier cozy bed. They sleep deeply, in their cozy suites at night and they are always so excited to see us in the morning. Their bums never stop wiggling while they eagerly wait for morning snuggles, pets, and of course, breakfast!!!

At our local Pet B&B, your pets are our pets, and every pet that comes through our door is treated like family. We are a family run, locally owned company and we know how important family is. We strive to bring your pets the best care we can provide, in a safe, clean, fun and happy space!

It's been a minute since I posted daycare pics!!! Whoops, here you go! Photo dump of all the fun times we've been up to for the last.... while 😅

Many times throughout my career, and especially now with as many amazing pups in our pack as we have, we often get asked the very difficult question, "How do I know it's time?"

What a difficult conversation to have, and to think about. But as pet owners, it's part of our responsibility to help them through all their life stages, including that final journey to the rainbow bridge.

How do I know it's time? There is absolutely no right answer to this very hard question. Only you are going to know when the time is right, and it's still going to feel like the most impossible decision.

11 years ago, almost to the date, I had to make this decision for the first time in my adult life with our senior golden, Copper. He was rescued from the SPCA, so we weren't really sure of his actual age. He started slowing down. We noticed he couldn't get on the couch easily or the bed. Or get in the car on his own, things like doing our stairs became a huge task for him, things like fetching the ball were too tiring. When I really started noticing his decline, we made the decision to make him a bucket list. Once I felt he couldn't do the things on his list that he so loved to do before, it was time. We made the appointment with our vet, and we did EVERYTHING on Coppers bucket list one more time.

He got all the rich yummy leftovers from our dinner, and he got to sleep in the middle of the bed, one last time. On his last day, we woke up together and cuddled, made our way to the drive through for a burger and fries for breakfast, followed by some yummy sugary treats that he never got to try before and we made our way to the park. We did laps until he couldn't anymore, and we threw that ball as many times as he wanted. We made our rounds to all the friends and family that thought he was the goodest boy for the final pets and we proceeded to the appointment where he got to cross the rainbow bridge, a happy, full, tired pup.

My advice is if you're on the fence. Start looking at that bucket list. Our furry family deserves only the very best care for our very best of friends. And we have the ability to help them, make sure they are not in pain, and make sure they are not suffering. My personal rule for my pets is always quality over quantity; we get the privilege of helping relieve our pets' pain. And that in itself is a huge burden and a huge gift.

Some fun we've had over the past week or so!!!

Don't forget with this chilly weather daycare is a great place to burn some energy for your pups without risking freezing those cute little toe beans playing outside! We offer daycare 7 days a week from 6am - 6:30pm We have 2 large playrooms where we seperate based on temperment and we have plenty of indoor space for your pet to play all day!! For a full day of daycare which is up to 12.5 hours, is $17.00 per day and a half day which is up to 5 hours is only $13.00 plus gst Give us a call today to set your pet up in our system.
