We absolutely adore this cat breed and have been blessed to produce some amazing Ragdolls as companions for so many wonderful families!

Please know this decision has been very difficult to make but we feel it’s in our family’s best interest to step back from breeding so that we can focus on raising our children to help them thrive and become the best they can be. 🥰💖

We will be taking applications for those who would like to adopt a kitten between Cappy and Sorbet with the expectant due date being September 2024. This will be our final litter.

Feline Fix by Five is a program of Marian’s Dream and United Spay Alliance.

Throughout the month of February they are working to raise awareness among veterinarians and pet parents alike on the benefits of early-age sterilization, and advocate for kittens to be spayed or neutered before they are five months old.

We have found ourselves in the same situation as Ohemgee Cattery several times since the pandemic stirred up many new scammers and people breeding just for fun and not understanding the importance of breeding ethically and responsibly.
It’s so important to double check things before you commit to adopting a kitten so that you can avoid the heartbreak that we’ve been hearing about from others 💙
Please read this post for a checklist of things to ask your prospective kitten/cat breeder.
We also strongly suggest having a phone or video chat with them as well. Every reputable breeder should care enough about each of the kitties they produce to take time to do this with you. 💞👌🏼

After helping a family who was scammed multiple times, Just a gentle reminder of what a reputable and responsible breeder offers
Kittens will come with:
Spay/Neuter
Health Records
Age appropriate vaccines
Deworming
Registration Papers
Insurance
Genetic testing
Genetic health guarantees

Be weary of "Discounted" kittens. These are often scams or very poorly bred kittens.
If choosing to go with a breeder who does not spay their kittens and offers papers after spay, they may not actually have papers and may be banking on the fact you will never ask. Ask to see proof of litter registration.

Also I encourage you to call your local vet and get spay/neuter pricing. When adding the price of the kitten and vetting, It almost always adds up to the cost of buying from a responsible breeder.

Always cross reference cattery names to the Tica website. Check also how long their accounts have been active.

This is a topic that has been debated long enough!
Thankfully there have been an abundant amount of studies and research done to support what we as responsible and ethical breeders already do… spay and neuter our kittens before they leave our home!!
There’s no excuse or reason not to practice this, if there’s a will there’s a way!!
Pet buyers…please choose to support responsible, ethical breeders who practice the early spay & neuter policy (ESN)
Breeders… please look at the evidence and decide to adopt the ESN practice if you haven’t already.
We all have a responsibility 💞
