🌿 W I S D O M • W E D N S D A Y 🌿 Did you know that rough play is something completely normal and harmless when positive reinforcement enters the game?! Dogs love to explore their world around them by playing, just like children do. It helps them to learn how to socialize with people and pets around them. Rough play is part of the fun when you positively encourage your pup to play nicely like in this video. Maple is only 8 months old and is still learning those boundaries during play time. It's when your wisdom comes in handy! Using short phrases or catch words will help your dog understands when you say those words. With us, Buddy learned that being nice means to slow down and be nicer when he's playing rougher than we'd like.
