Lack vision and love a good deal??? I have got the Western blanket for you! This single cinch blanket measures 33” long with a 17” drop. It will fit best over a 32” felt pad and looking fabulous with all the bay and chestnut types. Or paints… truly amazing with a lovely little paint.

This Western blanket was only used once for a photo shoot and has been washed and is ready to go for real use. This blanket is regularly priced at $225 and is available for $175! Message me or comment if you want in on this deal.

I’m not buying a western saddle to make it stay with me 😂. But… I have more of this fabric available 😉.

Update pictures! Red and Ursina can give us a couple of updates from the Belle Province… The grass is extremely delectable this time of year and her new Western blanket fits perfectly over her 5 Star pad.

Fresh Fabric Friday the 13th! Good luck, bad luck and Halloween vibes today.
Good luck- Here are some available fabrics that I can get into custom pads for Halloween.
Bad luck - the spooking season is beginning soon 😅.
Halloween vibes- I will be about 2-3 weeks turn around for these pads and will definitely have them for you by mid October.

I just got my new most favourite hat from them and I’m beyond excited for wearing it this weekend. Check them out! I am just in love with their products!

I had the hardest time picking out these fabrics. These are going to make the most stunning western blankets and boldest English saddle pads. Embrace the Wenglish look in a clever way.

Happy Labour Day! Play harder on this day!

We got a band of the most fabulous people together to get out and play for an amazing time with Amanda and Shayne of Soul Touch Photography last week. This shoot was all about joy, love and friendship. Quite possibly a little bit about test driving mom’s horse too. 🤣

A little bit about labour. Most of 27 Cedars products are made by myself (Anna) and Scarlett. The bridle charms that are included with each pad or blanket are the only exceptions. They are lovingly made by the ridiculously talented Amanda Straughan, another Vancouver Islander. All of our labour is local and aboveboard. I would not have it any other way.

Our wool comes from Vancouver Island sheep. The hard work involved in shearing, transporting and organizing processing is done by Lorea of Country Wools.

Most of my gorgeous fabrics and non-wool batting comes from the best hard working family owned fabric store Cloth Castle. Natasha, Brian and Micheal are my go to suppliers of the impossible to finds and things I can’t live without. Their hard work keeps me from running out of all the important things.

And last but not least, you. Thank you so much for supporting 27 Cedars as we are truly doing this as a labour of love. We love our community, our horses and we love this work! Thank you, now go out there and play!

Fresh (ish) Fabric Friday! There’s a couple of big orders en-route, so hang tight. Until then I’m looking ahead to what is going to be, the Fall season.

Unfortunately summer is starting to slip away… no more fly spray, no more sunscreen, no more forest fires, no more unbearable heat… I’m starting to see the appeal for fall!

These three pads are made with fabric that I still have in stock. No imagination required! Message me to get your pad started. $250 for the English cotton wool pads. $150 for the easy care English pads. $225 for the Western single cinch. $250 for the Western double cinch.

All the pretty beautiful things! Thank you Tracey for the update pictures! The teal piping was definitely the right choice. This print is just as pretty as your Chestnut and fabulous sunshirt. Also, is that a Moose photo bomber?!? 😉

All six of these beautiful Northern Lights pads are heading out for their new homes. As promised, there is an update for how much fabric remains. I have enough for two more. Message me for getting your English pad ($250 cotton and wool or $150 Easy care 86% cotton 14% polypropylene batting) or Western blanket (80% cotton 20% wool batting) $225 with the single cinch wear leather, $250 with the double sized wear leather.

-English Pads available as Jumper, Eventer, Baby pad and Dressage (Rounded or square shape). Wither shape (hippo, medium or shark fin?) Easy care or Cotton and Vancouver Island wool batting?

The pre-orders will get priority once the fabric arrives and should be mailed out by the end of September. I will have enough fabric in each of these for 2 pads or blankets in each fabric. That’s it, that’s all.

My saddle pads are always made with love for anyone who loves horses. Horses are my priority, people who love and cherish them are all equal in my eyes. Being an equestrian is hard enough and filled with enough heartbreak on its own. Love and support one another, always.

It’s back!!! The northern lights fabric is actually back!There’s enough here for about 6 saddle pads in any shape or size (Western blankets included). The cost for English pads with the cotton and Vancouver Island wool batting is $250, easy care batting is $150. Western blankets are cotton and wool blend for superior compression, washable and breathable materials. Single cinch wear leather is $225, double cinches wear leather is $250.

Hand made in Metchosin BC with shipping available anywhere in BC for $25.

I got lucky and there is absolutely no promise that I will be able to get more again of this print. To get started on your pad I will need a %50 deposit and it will be fcfs. Turnaround time is about 10 days at this time. It’s back!!!

Fresh Fabric Friday! The floral or the retro??? Which one is your favourite? Not bold enough to try these as saddle pads? Good news, there’s matching softshell fabric for helmet bags!!! I’m going with the retro splatter as my new favourite.

There’s enough softshell fabric for 4 helmet bags in each print and enough cotton fabric for 2 pads in each. I will give discounts for the matchy match sets of both. Helmet bags are available alone for $70 or in a set for $35! Mostly this discount is the incentive for me to get the production line going. 😎 Regular pricing for my saddle pads is in effect on these prints; English cotton and wool batting $250, English “Easy care” cotton /poly batting $150, Western Cotton/Wool single Cinch $225, double Cinch $250.
