Fresh Fabric Wednesday??? Why not! So, I’m early on this week’s post, but it only gets more confusing from here lol.

I have the opportunity to order this fabric from a Canadian designer/supplier but we will not actually get the fabrics for about 2.5 months, late October/early November pad/blanket delivery. Your order needs to be placed by this Saturday and then we wait.

If you want to start the process: pick your fabric, let me know what shape of pad and I will ask for a $50 deposit to get you in the queue. Final details and decisions (batting, wither shape, trim, etc) we will make when the fabric arrives.

It’s a bit of a schedule/routine shake up, but let’s try it out!

Fresh Fabric Friday is all about going with the Flow. These brand new prints are bringing some seriously nostalgic vibes and are available in a warm or cool colour scheme. I couldn’t decide which one was better, so I grabbed both. 😂
English pads and western blankets are available in either of these prints. Prices are between $150-250 for a handmade creation as unique and chill as you are.

Don’t fight it, just go with it. ✌️

Fresh Fabric Friday’s theme this week is… save me from myself! I have these beautiful fabrics in the stash and I’m so tempted to make a few for myself. So if anyone wants to help reduce the temptation, send me a message to get your custom pad made from the fabrics I’m coveting.

Pads and blankets are priced at:
- $150 English pads with 86% bamboo and 14% polypropylene batting
- $250 English pads cotton and Vancouver Island wool
- $225 Western blankets short wear leather 80% cotton 20% wool
- $250 Western blankets long wear leather 80% cotton 20% wool

Current turn around time is about 4 weeks. But I am catching up. Made with love (and a bit of envy😉😅) in Metchosin BC.

Custom bonnets are new and improved!

It’s no secret that I cannot crochet. It’s bad, like seriously bad. Which is why I adore and admire the wizardry that Athena preforms. This young wielder of the crochet hook is the magic behind our new and improved bonnet pattern. She is ready to take more orders on and I’m proud to work with her from the mundane place behind the sewing machine. I’m as muggle as it gets, while she turns skeins into bonnets. It’s wizardry and I’m completely enthralled by it.

The 27 Cedars bonnets are handmade to order with cotton yarn and matching capable to your saddle pads fabric. They are unique to each horse and rider and are proudly offered at $80 each. At time of order, we will need to know the measurements of space between your horses ears and ear height to make them fit just right.

I can’t wait to show off more of Athena’s magical work. So please consider adding a bonnet to complete your saddle pads orders, you’ll be completely under her spell too when you get your own matching bonnet. 🫶 🧙🦄

The beds are all made and the fluff remaining is a bare minimum. Great success!!! Keep me in mind when you need to replace your flat sad foam bed and replace it with a cotton and wool stuffed hand made bed of happiness.

I have learned that these pet beds function well as smaller human sized cozy pads. Perfect for children crates… I mean play pens. 😂
