Looking for a fun and educational Summer Camp for your child age 5+?

Element Equestrian has wonderful summer camps running all summer, including *single day* bookings available as space allows! Full or half days, no horse experience necessary! Daily riding lessons, horse care, crafts, stable management and so much more! We are a fully insured facility with wonderful horses and ponies for all ages to learn with. We also have a few partially subsidized camp spots left in certain weeks for low income families. Looking for a flexible program for your child to get outdoors and learn new skills this spring? Or have they just always wanted to learn how to ride? Well you're in luck! We have some spaces opening up in our program for new beginner riders, and we're offering a Start-up Special of 25% off lesson packages for the month of March for new riders! This is a great opportunity to try it out for the month with no obligation to continue if it's not for you.

We currently have a few spaces Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for beginner lessons, for ages 3 and up! We have ponies of all sizes for the littles, and larger horses for older riders. Our covered arena allows for year-round lessons, rain or shine!

Element Equestrian has several wonderful horses available for in-barn partial care leases. From child friendly ponies to intermediate-advanced rider mounts for dressage, jumping, or all around pleasure riding. All horses are well-mannered, kind-hearted, and appreciated for their individual personalities.

Lease rates average $25-$50/day, and lessons are $50 each. Leasers will enjoy our indoor ring with sand/GGT footing and LED lights, our heated tackroom with lockers, indoor cross ties and great location on the main bus route! We are a family friendly barn with riders of all ages, disciplines and levels, who support each other in their individual goals. Leasers are invited to attend shows, clinics and events, but there's no pressure to compete if that's not for you! We also host in-barn Games Day/Gymkhana events monthly, as well as stable management lessons and a variety of clinics.

We currently only have space for new standard lesson clients that are able to part lease one of our wonderful horses, otherwise we are taking a waitlist for standard lessons on a lesson horse. We have very limited space left for Beginner lesson students available. HCBC required for all leasers. PM for more information! Located in Metchosin.

Parents! Are you looking for an after school or weekend activity for your child that is active, year-round, outdoors (yet out of the rain!), confidence-boosting, skill-building, therapeutic, fun and flexible, with infinite room for growth and personal development?

Look no further! Beginner riding lessons at Element Equestrian are a fantastic place to start for ages 7+ with little to no riding experience, or those with past experience needing to 'brush up' on their grooming/tacking skills before moving into standard lessons.

(And yes, we have ADULT beginner lesson groups available as well!!)

In our 1-hour sessions, riders learn basic skills both in and out of the saddle, that will instill independence and safe practices as a developing rider. These are critical (and often under-practiced) first skills for any equestrian!

We have limited spots available for new students starting September 1st, with many flexible scheduling options coming available at this time but they do fill quickly! Message us or visit our website to register. Month-to-month or drop-in registration spots are available, as space allows.

Looking for some pony time for you or your child this summer? Check out our My Little Mini program! We have five wonderful, sweet and well trained miniature ponies here that would love to spend some time with you this summer!

If you are a parent with horse experience, and have a horse-crazy child that would like to start their equine journey with something flexible and affordable, this could be the perfect program for you! It's also perfectly suitable for adults, teens or any child (with supervision) that wants to enjoy some therapeutic down time with one of our wonderful minis. Take them for a walk, give them a groom, they love snuggles!

From just casual grooming, braiding and dressing up, to in-hand lessons on groundwork, lunging and more, these little munchkins are a pleasure to work with! No riding with this program, but riding lessons are available separately. Ponies must stay on property, HCBC required. (No experience necessary, but those with no experience must take in hand lessons until we are confident in your safe handling abilities.)

Summer registration is now open (July/Aug/Sept 2023) with advanced registration available to a limited number of students for our Fall season (Oct/Nov/Dec 2023) A deposit is required to hold the spot with fees due Sept 15th.

Unicorn Club of Metchosin has space for new members starting in July 2023! Monthly, seasonal and annual memberships available for ages 4-16 starting at $180/month! New members receive 25% off their first month's fees to try it out!

Unicorn Club is a fantastic first step for young riders, and the perfect ongoing program for riders with a focus on fun and friendship over competitive goals. Weekly lessons include mounted and unmounted activities, crafts, games, horse care and stable management exercises, and so much more! It's like summer camp - all year long! Students are split by level into appropriate groups, and classes run weekly on Sundays. We may add a weekday evening class as well, if members warrent. Seemless transition into our Standard lessons is simple when/if riders are ready to advance!

In an industry becoming more and more cost prohibitive to the average family, Unicorn Club was developed with a vision to allow more horse-crazy kids the opportunity to experience the magic of horses and ponies in a club with a focus on personal growth, friendship, community, and fun-focused learning. At Element we are proud to host this program, and always open to and strongly encourage community feedback to help us achieve this goal!

Members receive special discounts on our Spring and Summer camps, Games Days and Pro-D day events. Sponsorship or financial aid may be available to low income families as funding allows. Fall registration is now open for Unicorn Club at Element! The perfect place for kids to discover not only the magical world of horses, but themselves too! Here, memories are made and passions are discovered through taking part in all aspects of horsemanship. A place where kids gain self confidence, and a sense of responsibility while learning to work with, ride, and care for their beloved horses and ponies.

Through our hands-on programming, members will take part in daily horse care, safety, farm etiquette, first aid, horsemanship, and learn the basics of riding. Through the topic of horses, members will also learn about self expression, leadership, communication, problem solving, and goal setting. We are passionate about building an all inclusive community, and take the time to encourage empathy, compassion, and self esteem.

Along the way, our members are surrounded by committed and passionate teachers who create a safe and inclusive environment for kids to discover their passions. We believe there is no better place to grow and develop than outdoors, sharing your passion with your peers.

🐎Element's Summer camps are great for all levels of riders! Each camp offers a variety of activities, tailored to the individual groups each week. Full and half day camps include a daily riding lesson, with riders divided into groups based on age and level, and many other equine activities. Campers will learn all about horse care and stable management, and explore a variety of disciplines. Element is fully insured and our programs are run by highly experienced, certified and registered coaches and instructors.

🦄Mini camps are a great introduction to ponies for young riders with little to no experience, and will be fun for our current MinEquest students as well! Each Mini Camp will include grooming and riding time on our smaller ponies, crafts, and other fun games and activities!
