We have two new members to introduce 🙌🐾

Bella ( on the left ) was here last week but we missed her introductory post. Bella is a very shy, nervous girl that hasn’t had much socialization besides coming here for her grooms. Her pawrents thought she should make some furry friends. We see a little difference in her already. 🥰

Louis ( on the right ) was here today for his first time. He also is a shy, nervous boy. He is used to being around other dogs, but his mom thought it would be good for him to make some new friends. He did very good for his first day!

Great job pups and welcome to our pack!!!

Romeo made friends with Gilmour!!

Some pups need different settings to feel comfortable to play. Some need one on one, some need just a smaller group! We’re excited for Romeo that he was feeling comfortable and confident to be himself!!

Happy Birthday to my special boy Waylon ! He turns 2 today! Originally from Texas , Waylon, his entire litter with both parents were found dumped on the side of the road. They were all fostered by Barking Mad Animal rescue.
December 2022 he ,all of his siblings and over 60 other pups were loaded on the transport bus and brought to Moncton.
Happy Birthday buddy we all love you so much ,even your sister Luna 😆

Let’s talk about a multi dog house!

We have four amazing pups of our own in our house. I wasn’t allowed any more so I had to open a doggy daycare and boarding facility 😉 🤣

Since we have a little pack and have always had a couple pups with behavioural issues that can flare up from time to time, we’ve had to develop a little plan for each doggo.

These plans include, separate walks for each, one on one training sessions (even if it’s just a walk with lots of recall and rewards), and a little extra lovin’ and enrichment. (Ie chew toys, puzzle feeders, lick mats)

We’ve been so lucky to have had some wonderful dog trainers in our life! Mountain Top K9 and MAX K9 Training

Every dog needs a confident leader in its life. If your pup doesn’t see you as their leader they feel they are now in charge! For most pups, that is one scary feeling and their behaviours will reflect that. For other pups, they may see that being a leader is an opportunity 😂 and there in turn you will see other unwanted behaviours.

An important reminder!

When making lost pet flyers and posters we often run into a big issue, the pet owner doesn't have any recent or clear photos of their pet.
We hope you'll never need these but it's better to have them just in case!
