Let’s talk puppies! I like to see my new puppy clients every 6 weeks for their first few grooms. Their first groom is always just a bath and tidy up. I don’t like to overdo it with their first time with me. Second groom, if they’ll allow it, I will attempt a full groom (like Claire the doodle here). And with puppies, they’re squirmy, bitey, playful (everything a puppy should be) so their first clip may not be perfect looking (and it’s not for a lack of trying on the groomers part). For Claire’s first haircut, she did great! No fear, likes to talk 😆 (a lot) and is a typical puppy. Last night I took my 2 year old dog to lure coursing! It's a great way of getting out and your dog having some (quick) fun. They chase plastic grocery bags (which are the lure) attached to string out in a fenced in field. If your dogs chases squirrels they'd love this. It's socially distanced and you can let your pups have a dip in the pool after too! WINNING! 😍😃 For anyone interested check out- Maplelane Farm Event Centre
