I realized I never sent out a thank you to everyone who supported .dogretreat and I during the Cupcake Day! By the end of it, I wasn’t sure I ever wanted to see another cupcake again 😅. But the support we received was truly overwhelming, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

🎉It’s that time of year again! OSPCA Cupcake Day is here, and I’ve teamed up with the amazing ladies at .dogretreat to bake up some delicious treats—while also helping furry friends in need! 🧁

We’ll be selling cupcakes for $12 for 6 or $20 for a dozen, with all proceeds going to the . Can’t decide which flavour to pick? No problem! Feel free to mix and match! 🤤🙌🏻

Order by February 16th and pick up (or local drop-off) will be available during the week of February 17th-21st.

This Saturday, join us for a special event where you can get your dog’s nails trimmed while supporting a great cause! 🐾

Details:

Bring your furry friend in for a nail trim
In exchange, we ask for a non-perishable food item, women’s sanitary products, or a monetary donation
All donations will benefit the Georgian Food Network to help those in need this holiday season
Can’t make it this Saturday? No worries – I’ll be hosting a second event in December!

Let’s talk puppies! I like to see my new puppy clients every 6 weeks for their first few grooms. Their first groom is always just a bath and tidy up. I don’t like to overdo it with their first time with me. Second groom, if they’ll allow it, I will attempt a full groom (like Claire the doodle here). And with puppies, they’re squirmy, bitey, playful (everything a puppy should be) so their first clip may not be perfect looking (and it’s not for a lack of trying on the groomers part). For Claire’s first haircut, she did great! No fear, likes to talk 😆 (a lot) and is a typical puppy. I was happy with how her first haircut turned out and I’ll be seeing her in 6 weeks 🥰 #doggroming #doggroomer #puppy #doodlepuppy #puppyofinstagram #puppylove #dogsofinstagram #dogstagram #lovemyjob

*Non grooming post* Last night I took my 2 year old dog to lure coursing! It's a great way of getting out and your dog having some (quick) fun. They chase plastic grocery bags (which are the lure) attached to string out in a fenced in field. If your dogs chases squirrels they'd love this. It's socially distanced and you can let your pups have a dip in the pool after too! WINNING! 😍😃 For anyone interested check out- Maplelane Farm Event Centre The video is of my boys last run of the night. He was tired!
