Hello to my fur parents! I’ve got some news to share.
Please read the entire post carefully before commenting or contacting me, thank you 🙂

-I’m excited (and a little nervous) to announce that some changes are happening. I’m moving! Yes , after 9 years I’ve decided the pretty pups spa needed its own space. It will still be the quiet one on one experience for your babies as it always has been, just at a different location here in Minto.

—-My new location will be at 6 Main Street, Minto! I’ll be downstairs of Atlantic Pets Canada with my own entrance to the right of the main door of the store.

ALSO When bringing your babies in, I’d like to ask that ALL pets be on a leash or in a pet carrier. I’d hate for them to run into traffic.

-ONLY SMALL and MEDIUM SIZED dogs will be booked this month. Hoping to be able to start large breeds in November but will not be booked until I’m comfortable to do so. I do have a priority list of small breeds started and I will be contacting those very soon to book.

-With a new location comes a few changes in price as well. I’ve always tried to keep my prices as affordable as possible but with rising cost in supplies, and with higher rent costs, some changes will be made to my price list.

*Extra small breeds (under 10lbs) will start at $45

*LONG HAIR SMALL BREEDS (10-30lbs) will START at $55 (shih tzu, Maltese, small poodle, havenese, small cocker spaniel etc)

*Small breeds with short hair will start at $45

*LONG HAIR MEDIUM SIZE BREEDS (30- 60lbs) will START at $65 (medium size poodle/doodle, wheaten terrier, )

Medium breeds with short hair will start at $50

*LONG HAIRED LARGE BREEDS (60lb+) will start at $90.

Large breeds with short hair will start at $70.

Additional charges could be :

$20 if fleas are found on your pet
$15-$30 if your pet is matted
$10+ if your pet is not picked up within the hour after notification that your pet is ready to go home unless discussed beforehand. I do not have space to babysit your fur baby, unfortunately.

IF YOU DO NOT SHOW for your appointment, $25 will be added to your next appointment total if you choose to rebook. If a reminder call is necessary to keep your pet on their schedule, please let me know.

Nail trim BY APPOINTMENT will stay at $10.
—-Walk in nail trim will be $20 if I can fit you in that day.

HUGE shoutout to my boyfriend Bryson for helping me heal from my injuries and helping me make this move possible and easy. And also to my mom for housing this crazy adventure I’ve been on for the past 9 years 😂 if you’ve made it this far, you’re a champ and I appreciate your patience in reading this book, I can’t wait for this adventure to begin! 🐾

Hello pet parents! As you all know I was injured in July and It’s been a hard summer not being able to hang out with all the fur babies, but I’ve got a small announcement!

Starting NEXT week I will be booking nail clips only! Send me a text or give me a call next week to book a nail clip 🙂

I’m planning to be back to grooming sometime in October starting with small dogs only as I’m still working on getting strength back in my hand. I will make another announcement later on as to when I’ll be booking those appointments. Until further notice, I’ll be doing nail clips only.

I also want to thank all of those who have checked up on me, it’s very much appreciated and I definitely felt the love! Your fur babies mean so much to me and I wouldn’t be able to do what I love without you all. And thank you for your patience ❤️

To all clients who have an appointment booked with me in the next two months :
As many of you know this week was supposed to be my week vacation, but unfortunately it will be longer than the week I initially intended. I have a couple broken fingers and a cast up to my elbow and I’ll be unable to work for an unknown amount of time. Please if you have an appointment with me and are worried about your pup needing a groom, give me a call or text at 506-327-0342. I will be away from my phone until Wednesday so messages will be returned then. I’m sorry for any inconvenience. I will be reaching out to those with appointments one by one this week as well.

For all the dogs I’ve groomed before! To all my regular pet parents:
Just a reminder that I am going to be on vacation from July 14th to the 26th. I will not be available during that time. My phone will be off and any messages I receive will be returned on July 25th. Thank you for your patience. 🐾 💚💕

I would also like to remind others that I am NOT taking on any new dogs as I am over booked. I’ve experienced a burn out from over booking and I need to take care of myself first. I am only one person here and I can only do so much. I have had my time disrespected by some who have missed appointments that they have pushed to get and did not show. If your pet needs grooming I can point you to a groomer who can accommodate you but at this time I am no longer taking new dogs. Thank you.

****I am NOT taking on any new dogs or cats for FULL GROOM at this time, I'm sorry. An update will be posted once I'm able to!***

- As many of you know I am usually booked 2+ months in advanced because I and many pet parents like to keep their fur babies on schedules and book with me for the year. Keeping a schedule is important to me as I have my own senior fur babies to take care of as well. If your fur baby needs grooming every 4-8 weeks I recommend booking for the year, this way I don't have to squeeze you in and have to rush. I truly love what I do and I'd rather take the time and do it right. Who really wants to have a spa day in a hurry?

-For the past couple of years, Covid has made things a little difficult for all of us. I understand life happens and people forget, but the amount of no shows have gone up. Starting January 2022, I will be charging a no show fee of $20 that will be added to your next appointment total. If a reminder is needed, let me know.

Starting January 2022 I will no longer be booking Thursdays, Saturdays or Sundays. I will ONLY be booking Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays (8am-6:30pm) and Fridays (8am-4pm)

I am only one person here. I really do love all fur babies and to make this the best experience possible for them I need this to be a laid back environment. When your fur baby is with me they have my full attention. You can be as picky as you want with their styles, I'm all about those little details that make them unique.

Full groom (bath, nails, ears and shaved with options) -$35
Full groom with longer hair style- $40

MEDIUM SIZED SHORT HAIR (small lab, etc) -bath, nails and ears -$40

MEDIUM-SIZED LONG HAIR (BORDER COLLIE, COCKER SPANIEL, SMALL DOODLE etc)

Bath and tidy (nails, ears, basic tidy trim) - $45
Full groom (bath, nails, ears and short trim with options) -$50
Full groom with longer hair style-$55

LARGE BREED SHORT HAIR (Lab, rottweiler, German shepherd etc)
Bath, nails and ears $55

LARGE BREED LONG HAIR-( GOLDEN RETRIEVER, BERNESE MNT DOG, LARGE DOODLE etc)
Bath and tidy (nails, ears, basic tidy trim)- $60
Full groom (bath, nails, ears and shaved with options) -$65
Full groom with longer hair style $70
*Price may be higher depending on condition of coat (matted fur)

Prices for cats will stay the same
$35 for lion cut or complete shave with nail clip included.
Less for spot shave.
I do not bathe cats.

Nails- $10 (all breeds)

Flea bath-$20 extra (if fleas are found, I have to cancel all appointments after and clean to make sure no fleas remain in my shop)

*All full grooms include a bath, nails done and ears cleaned.
*Shaved with options meaning a short body, with options of a fluffy head and longer tail.
*A longer hair style usually done with clipper combs to leave them nice and fluffy, hense a "teddy bear look"
