Be aware of possible scammers in accounts looking for money.

This scammer has been stealing our videos and photos from other pages and pretending to be HAWS. He has been apparently doing this for over 3 months and a follower brought it to our attention today. There are 13.5K subscribers on the fake page and they are asking for donations to be made to an email account (gmail).

HAWS only receives our donations on our official website;
www.helpalbertawildiessociety.com

Scammers are in high gear these last few weeks and we urge all of you to be very cautious. If you need to ask us a question or need to clarify something, please contact us at our email:

We dropped a bale of hay in the pasture. I think Lennie (Staveley Lorenzo) is enjoying it. Some of it will be wasted but it also gives them a comfy place to lay.

I’m very pleased with this buck. He is very easy going and kind to the ladies.

Fingers crossed for his babies in the spring.

I had the herd trimmed on Saturday. Love my skilled trimming professionals. East coast Hoof care.

Before they arrived I was getting the herd in and getting organized. Left the barn for 5 mins and one of this kids tried to steal my funds!

What can I say that would express what this buck has meant to our goat herd in the past 9 years!

Our dear Dubie has passed this week. He was battling a few old age issues but the recent heat wave and pneumonia was difficult and dragged him down.
We put him to rest.

I will miss your kisses Dubie. 😞💙

A few weeks ago we had to put down our eldest doe in the herd. Dear Frosty was struggling since last summer with teeth extractions and infected teeth. In May she had another flare up which required another tooth loss. Hard on the heart as she was raised here and was a very hardy goat. She provided many good offspring in her 13 years that continue to live in herds across the maritimes.

I tested a few does in January that I felt would be the most at risk. They came back negative
Now the full herd testing is completed.

In April 2023, our doe Annie had twins,a buck and a doe. If you recall the buckling had the sweetest personality. It was a Dubie x Annie cross.
In February 2024, she repeated with twins. Again the personality of these kids is amazing. I guess Dubie x Annie is a great cross

My heart and thoughts go out to my friend who lost his barn overnight to a fire. 40 + goats with kids.
Several came from my farm.
