With the new year underway, I wanted to start something to show a little appreciation for our guests. Every visit helps make this space what it is, and I’m so thankful for the incredible people and pups who have visited Frog Hill πŸ’šπŸΎ

With Sniffspot no longer offering spot-specific memberships, and with us now able to facilitate our own bookings, I’m happy to introduce our "Loyalty Card": visit 10 times, and the next one is free 🐢

This park has always been about creating a space where dogs can relax and decompress – free to explore, play, and just be dogs. Now, as we near the end of our second year, it has also grown into a wonderful community.

If I’m being honest, I still can’t quite believe it. When I first learned about Sniffspot, I signed up immediately; I didn’t even discuss it with my partner because I thought it would be an occasional thing, if anything at all.

Especially with me working from home, I just thought it would be nice to share the property while I was stuck inside at my computer.

But when we got our very first booking that same day, I realized we had the opportunity to create something special.

With the Christmas decorations now taken down, I wanted to share these guest photos πŸ“Έ

The "presents" were a ton of fun to make, but hearing one client
mention that they'd never had the chance to take holiday
photos before was the real gift 🎁

The pallets were free and I already had the pallet wrap. All it
took was some spray paint and materials for the bows to
bring it all together πŸŽ€

From exploring the woods to chasing balls and playing together, they made the most of their visit.

Some guests leave a lasting impression long after their visit. This wonderful pack, a lovely couple and their 3 poodles, has brought so much joy to Frog Hill. They visit almost every week, and I always look forward to seeing the recap of their time here; nothing beats seeing such a happy trio of dogs make the most of our space.

This Christmas, they went above and beyond, bringing me a heartfelt card (and even chocolates!) πŸ’š It's moments like these that remind me why I opened this space – to share in the happiness and connection that dogs and their humans bring.

Wishing .puppies (Jennifer, Jeff, Madigan Maximus, Huxley Orion, and Ezekiel Grimm) the best year and beyond. Thank you for being such an unforgettable part of this journey 🐾

We are now able to accept reservations outside of Sniffspot πŸŽ‰

No more converting USD to CAD to see how much you will be charged (and some lower prices)

We are officially insured for the services we were providing through both Sniffspot and Rover.

But, if you prefer the method of booking through their platforms, you can still find us on them 😊

Esme & Luna πŸ’— the 'House Hippo' & 'Roast Chicken' πŸ¦›πŸ—

This is a bittersweet post, to say the least.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with these two adorable little beans for the better part of the last year, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. Esme, with her squiggles and endless excitement, and Luna with her sassiness – they both provided me with so much joy.

Now, as they set off on a new adventure, I’m filled with a mixture of emotions. I’ll miss them dearly, but I’m so excited for them!

A huge thank you to their wonderful human, Kristen, for the gift basket and the card with their pawprints 🐾 β€” so incredibly sweet and thoughtful 🫢

Their departure also marks the end of my house-sitting days. I'm looking forward to spending more time at home and working on the property 🏑🌲🌳🌿

Willow was actually one of our first guests when we started hosting nearly a year and a half ago. I'd wager that she knows our property better than I do at this point (though having a coonhound nose gives her a bit of an unfair advantage).

Seeing Willow and other dogs enjoying the space, running freely, and exploring all the sniffs is the best reward. It's always wonderful to hear that our Sniffspot provides a safe and happy place.
