The staff at SAINTS talked with Duke about how we only have 1 month to our 20th-anniversary celebration. We had to tell him only 15 tickets have sold and as you can see from his face he is dismayed. We tried to explain that many factors can influence our supporters' decision to attend and we should not be sad. But he is SAD. He was even sadder when we told him that we have had to already partially pay for the facility, that we had started to collect some awesome auction items, and that we have a secret we plan on telling to our supporters the night of the event.


We have told Duke we have a plan that we have named SOG (Save Our Gala) and that we will keep him informed. We have promised him we will post, to encourage more people to purchase tickets, the number of tickets sold on a regular basis until we hit 100.

It is events such as these that give our shelter operations a boost so that we can continue to help animals such as Duke. It is why Duke is really hoping for a room full of supporters on October 5th.
