This is Tanner, he's in a foster home looking for a furever home β€οΈ. He's a big boy, around 80lbs, possibly pit lab mix. I'm doing training walks a couple times a week. Just before Christmas, he went into a foster to adopt home, but he was returned after a month. They said he pulled too much. Tanner is one of the better walking dogs I've taken care of. He has learned so much, like not to drag me to chase squirrels. He wants to eat food he finds but will drop it or allow me to take it from him. He is apparently reactive to dogs, but it's so minimal, just a word from me and he sits and watches. Very food motivated and he is interested in learning. The only bad thing I've seen him do, is react to grade school children when they wanted to meet him through a fence. I walk him past the playground at least once a week to try to desensitize him. He's also nervous about big noisy things like trucks and buses. We've had about 30 walks together, and he's generally very manageable. He's super sweet too, likes his belly rubs π. So if anyone is interested in a new big fren, Tanner is all ears βΊοΈ
