Hi Gang. You won't believe it! I FINALLY FOUND A NEW LOCATION to re-START, re-BOOT, re-BARK - KAMP K-9 RESORT & SPAW. It's in the Dundas & Dixie area of Mississauga and it's a TOTALLY AMAZING SPACE that I have found to look after your FURBABIES. I think it's the perfect SPOT (and you know how particular I am) and I can't wait to start seeing everyone again. It has a huge outdoor artificially-turfed area and it's fully air-conditioned. Some of my existing staff are actually coming back too as they missed your furry family members just as much as I did. I have been watching some of them from my home in Applewood for the last 4 years while I've been searching for a new space, but my house isn't big enough any more and I'd really like to give your guys more room to run and roam and nap. However, as the pandemic really took a BITE out of my savings as I've had my other leaseholds in storage for the last 4 years, I could use some help getting up and running again. I have created this GoFundMe account if anyone would like to help. (I'm told if I don't ask, you won't know I need it - so I'm asking - which I hate having to do). So there's this guy on facebook who kept trying to friend me. I friended him the first time I saw his post just for the heck of it. We messaged and even chatted on the phone a couple of times. Very cautious conversations revealed he is of course trying to scam me and I stopped all conversations. Since then, he has tried to re-friend me using so many other names (but the same pictures lol). I guess he thinks I'm stupid. The names he has used so far - for your reference - in case he's trying to friend you as well - are: Derrick Austin (although he's changed his picture on this one now), John Josh, Alex Owen, Alphonce Joseph, Davis Jackson and most recently Pedro Morgan. BEWARE !!

This is a good reminder with Winter’s colder weather coming.

If you still feel the chill even with a jacket on, chances are your pup is feeling it too. Keep an eye out for signs like shivering, whining, or a lack of enthusiasm for playtime outside. These signs indicate that it might be time to head back indoors.

During the winter, try taking your dog out for walks during the warmest parts of the day, such as late morning or early afternoon. If the sun is out, it'll provide some extra warmth as your furry friend quickly takes care of their business and scurries back inside to their cozy abode.

Our Story

Kamp K-9 is currently in the process of setting up its new location in the Dixie/Dundas area of Mississauga. It is a 20,250 square foot facility (the largest in the GTA in fact) devoted entirely to the care, well-being and fun of your furry, four-legged canine companion and family member. We will be sharing our new space with the “Interactive Dog Training & Psychology Centre” who will provide training as well as numerous services and training to various rescue dogs that will come to our centre from the wonderful rescue organizations that they assist. Both of our companies will be spread out over our two floors; 10,125 square feet on the main floor for Kamp K-9 and 10,125 square feet on the second floor for Jeff, Katie and their team. Our training for Kamp K-9 will occur on the 2nd floor as well.
