Our Fellow Pet Lovers, it’s that season again!

Winter has ended and spring is here, at last.

April showers bring May flowers and with that parasites!

We’re ready for warm summer nights, BBQs in our backyards, camping, trips up to the trailer/cottage.

Getting out any way we can during these crazy time and of course we bring our pets with us to enjoy the season as well!

Not always realizing the extra risks they take in joining us.

For example, did you know that mosquitoes carry heartworm?

That the ingestion of a flea causes tapeworm?

Did you know that the Deer Tick that carries lyme disease has established itself here in our neighbourhoods?
