Funny how the ones in my personal tank are brighter green compare the one in the re**er at the shop. Must be the lighting from G6 on my tank and G3 on my re**er.

Pic of the Day 1k352. Grape Caulerpa is a macro algae that we grow and use when we receive new tangs. Tangs love this natural algae, as you can see the Biota Yellow Tangs we received yesterday are loving it.
Thanks Biota of supplying our staff with some nice golf shirts and Caitlin got a nice shopping bag with a nice yellow tang on it. They also sent us a bunch of stickers if any of you want some.
Proaquatix Price on new arrivals. The Regular clown fish we have are not True Percs, they are just regular clownfish and we have a great deal on them. We had free shipping on our order with them, which also reflects on better pricing for you.
For those who want to understand what we do when live orders arrive so we can calculate shipping cost of new arrivals, so we can price the new arrivals correctly and not undercharge or overcharge. Also, here's the price on Biota Fish.
Our shipping cost was $117.15 cdn and there was 20kg of weight for fish and box. Adds up to $5.86 per Kilo.
Yellow Tang, $299
Hippo Tang $149.99
Mandarin $129.99 Too small to sell now.. we are going to hold them till they get bigger

Pic of the day 1k352. Biota and Proaquatix landed and delivered to my USA warehouse. On the highway coming back
Pic of the Day 1k351. We have lots of ppl asking on pricing for new arrivals. We cannot price anything until we have it on hand. Reason for this is we calculate the actual shipping cost of each species. Once we have that, we can put the info in our spreadsheet to accurately find out what was the actual cost of each species with weight, shipping and exchange rate. Thanks for understanding.
Why Polyp Labs. All Polyp Labs in stock at Derek’s. Make your corals happy by eating the best foods.

Pic of the Day 1k353. Love my plugs that we designed for SPS Corals. Add the glue then put coral right in there. Don’t need to hold the coral etc. Seatak for glue. Made some Fox Flame Frags for those interested.
Love this coral. Garf Bonsai (Acropora Valida). This is in our display tank. Our display tank took a little hit during the move but this coral is kicking it back in. Growing great with our Tropic Marin Balling System.
Japanese Toadstool that we’ve been growing for the past few months. They are known to have very long tentacles. Very difficult to get and we were lucky to be able to get one to grow out.
Pic of the Day 1k328. Doesn’t take us long now to mix our water. This pump shoots across 4’ in our mixing bin on a 1.5” bulkhead.
Two videos. This is one big Scarlet Hermit Crab. You could throw his shell at someone and knock them out. lol. First video he’s in my hand for you to compare its size. Second video is when he comes out for a stroll. You can also see the difference between him and the Astrea snails.
Caribbean Reef Butterfly in our QT System. Chaetodon Sedentarius. Will be released on Feb 14th. These fish are caution for Reef compatibility as for inverts such as worms and small Crustaceans, but will destroy aptaisia and hydroids. As for worms, need to be careful with feather dusters and Xmas rocks.
Pic of the Day 1k324. One of our contract tanks with Proaquatix Watchmen Goby for $18.99. As you can see, they turned a beautiful yellow compare when they came in. Why pay $50-$75 when you can get it for $18.99 at Derek’s.
We just finished acclimating our inverts. These Pencil Urchins are very nice. We received a very healthy order from the Caribbean.
