Harriet is living proof that just because you are broken it does not mean you can give up .... her many many injuries may slow her down some but she always gives me 100% ❤ .... On August 11 I posted a video of Harriet and the ladder ...... today I am asking her to move through the ladder rungs with her hind feet ... not only does this make the dog work hard on body awareness, rear leg lift with lateral movement is not a natural movement. She is such a good dog and so willing to work for me. Training should offer a variety of exercises to ensure your dog's body and brain remain engaged. :) Go Go Baby Harriet

Training is all about building confidence in your dog and trust in the relationship .... I am introducing Winnifred to back packs and she is taking it all in stride ... here we are adding a small bit of load .... no, it is not heavy (yet) but is gives her the feel of a something on her sides .... should she be sitting? no... she should stand calmly for the load ... that will come... for now, I happy to see the acceptance of the packs, the trust in me and the happy tail :)

It is important to keep training new things and presenting new challenges to your dog ... it keeps their mind and bodies strong ... here I have Harriet walking through the ladder with her front feet only.... this makes her think about front foot placement, makes her be aware of rear end movement and ... lateral movement is not a natural choice for a dog .... all this works her brain and body 😊😊
It is imperative that puppies be exposed to a wide variety of experiences ... from being allowed to explore outside ... interacting with various breeds of dogs... handling by children ... different textures under their feet .... and and and .... these little ones are going to be amazing companions to a lucky family.... male available ... do not miss out ... inquires welcome 😊
