Great private training with Milo yesterday! 3 month old who is nipping, jumping and just being a normal baby! Had a great time with his parents coaching them on how to train Milo to be a good little pup. 🙂

Ray’s trainers tip of the day: creating a connection/bond between your children and your dog is very important. Taking your dog on walks with your kids allows the dog to associate something positive (the walk) to your children. Stopping a few times throughout your walk to reward the dog next to your children also helps create that positive association. If your children are old enough to give the dog treats themselves during the walk then that’s a plus. If your children are too young (like my little one in the pic), merely rewarding the dog close to the baby is great. www.paws4trainingwestisland.com
