Posted • 🍄Hello fungi lovers! Curious about how to create your own Lions Mane mushroom tincture? Well lucky for you we will be hosting a guided tincture making workshop on Thursday November 28th at Le Frigo Vert (1440 Rue Mackay)!
🐛The workshop will take place from 7pm until 8pm, with time for social gathering until 9pm.
The workshop will be lead by the amazing Nico (they/them), a co-founder of Co-op Cultivaction () and a mushroom cultivator. You can find their fresh red wine cap mushrooms & mushroom medicinal tinctures available at cultivaction’s farmers markets! We are very excited to have their expertise for this workshop!
All supplies will be provided, and participants will leave with their own medicinal tincture!
🎟Tickets are $10 for Concordians (with a valid student ID) and $15 for general admission. Tickets are available through the link in our bio!
This is the perfect event to end an amazing Fall semester🍂and head into a chilly Winter season❄️. We can’t wait to see you there!🍄

our loyola harvest party was amazinggg 🎃🍂👻🍁 what an honour to celebrate our 2024 season, plant the first garlic seeds of next season, and lay our loyola garden space to rest together. 🤗🫂 thank you thank you thank you to our volunteers, market goers, education course members, and community for coming to celebrate our special garden space!! 🧡💚♥️

senneville harvest party!! 😍🍂😇🍁 huge thank you to everyone who came to plant garlic and celebrate with us at our large plot outside of the city. our hearts are bursting with gratitude for our beautiful community! 💚🥹 cheers to another incredible season together. 🫶 our loyola garden harvest party is this sunday 12-5, hope to see you there! 🎉🎃

✨Join us for our upcoming guided foraging walk at the Morgan Arboretum ✨

This walk will take place on November 2nd starting at 12pm!

Tickets are $20 per person, and will be available for purchase on our eventbrite which can be found in the linktree in bio! 🐛

We won’t be providing transportation to this walk, but it is transit accessible with the 11 Vaudreuil-Hudson train! 🚊

This is the perfect event if you’re looking to get out of the city and spend some time in nature looking for amazing mushrooms. And of course meet new people! 🍄✨🌿

We’re thrilled to be apart of the final installation of Fungi Fest 2024. 🥳🤩 The fest is hosted at Oct 23 11-3pm and will have educational opportunities, workshops, talks, vendors, numerous mushroom cultivators/educators (hey that’s us! 🤪), and loooads of mushroom goodies yippee! 🍄😍 we will have some mushroom cultivation supplies available for purchase, hope to see you there 🥰😇

wahoo! we’re so excited to be apart of Fungi Fest MTL again this year 🍄

En raison du succès de la première édition de Fungi Fest Mtl, le festival de champignons original de Montréal, cette saison, nous élargissons nos racines en organisant le FFMTL à deux nouveaux endroits ! 🍄🔥💫

Nous sommes très heureux de nous être associés avec la BMP Co-op à Milton Park, à la Concordia Food Coalition à l'Université Concordia et Singhs Arcade à Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Encore une fois, rien de tout cela ne serait possible sans le soutien extraordinaire que nous avons reçu de vous tous. Nous espérons une fois de plus répandre nos spores et nous connecter avec la merveilleuse communauté myco à travers nos festivals. 🌱🌟💜

Due to the success of last year's first edition of Fungi Fest Mtl, Montreal's original mushroom festival, this season we will spread our roots by hosting FFMTL at two new locations! 🍄🔥💫

We are very happy to be partnering with the BMP Co-op in Milton Park, the Concordia Food Coalition at Concordia University, and once again Singhs Arcade in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. None of this would be possible with all of the amazing support we received from all of you. We hope to once again spread our spores and connect with the wonderful myco community through our festivals. 🌱🌟💜

recap of yesterday’s weekly tuesday volunteer session 10-2pm: we had a lovely turn out of sweet volunteers and together we got our tomatoes and peppers in the ground before the rain later in the evening 🤩 scoreee! then we harvested bunches of radishes & chives to deliver to … and some extras for our volunteers to bring home, of course ☺️ lastly, this season one of our incredible native pollinator plants bee balm came back almost a little too strong this year 😅 so we dug some up for our volunteers to bring to their gardens and the rest for and to relocate to the guerrilla pollinator garden located along the de maisonneuve bikepath in NDG 🌸🌻🌷🌼

we are thrilled to be back in full swing! 🌿 & hope to see you at our next tuesday volunteer session 10-2pm at 7075 rue terrebonne 💚
