💔 𝗨𝗡 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗘́
C’est l’histoire du petit Duff, 5 mois, qui a été abandonné dehors tout seul avant d'être pris en charge par une SPCA…
😞 Il semble avoir été abandonné sur le bord de la route car il souffre du démodex, qui peut créer des gales chez les chiots avec un système immunitaire affaibli.
🥶 C’est donc en plein hiver, dans le froid, que ce pauvre chiot a été trouvé laissé à lui-même, et cela semble l’avoir beaucoup affecté. Duff n’aime pas sortir dehors. Il est anxieux, et préfère faire ses besoins à la maison, en sécurité. Sortir, ça lui fait peur, tout simplement…
🫶 Il va donc demander beaucoup de travail pour progresser à ce niveau. Nous lui avons choisi un nouvel environnement mieux adapté à ses besoins, avec une maman d’accueil présente en tout temps à la maison pour s’occuper de lui et le surveiller.
✅ À Poil - Éducation et comportement canin a commencé à le suivre pour conseiller au mieux la famille qui en prendra soin avec nous durant les prochaines semaines. Nous travaillons justement sur l’amélioration de notre pôle comportement pour aider nos chiens à mieux progresser. Duff va donc avoir droit à notre nouveau protocole !

💔 𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗬
This is the story of 5-month-old Duff, who was abandoned outside on his own before being taken in by an SPCA…
😞 It seems he was abandoned by the side of the road because he suffers from demodex, which can cause mange in puppies with a weakened immune system.
🥶 The poor puppy was found stranded in the cold of winter, and it clearly took its toll on him. Duff doesn’t like to go outside. He’s anxious and prefers to do his business in the safety of the house. Going outside is just too scary for him…
🫶 So, it will take a lot of work for him to make progress in this area. We’ve chosen a new environment better suited to his needs, with a foster mom who’s always at home care for him and keep an eye on him.
✅ He’s now being followed by Catherine-Jade, one of our canine trainers, who will provide the best advice to the family taking care of him with us over the coming weeks. We’re also working on improving our behaviour stream to help our dogs make better progress. Duff will therefore benefit from our new protocol!
