We are an animal loving family with 2 dogs(Yorkies) of our own that love canine company! My dog Stella is very friendly and sociable and loves having friends over :) We also have Theo our rescue dog. We only take a maxim of 4 dogs for daycare per day and 4 per Dog Boarding. We don't want to overbook like so many other places where your dog might get lost in the crowd. Here once your pet is und

er our care they will get tons of love and affection on a constant basis. We make them part of our family
We don't use cages and pets are allowed on the couch
There is no kids living here. You will get daily pictures and updates when your dog is in our care. We only take small breed dogs maximum 15 pounds. We are familiar with insulin injections � for diabetic dogs and also are able to provide the pump to dogs that have asma. We adapt to the needs of your dogs and follow the schedule that you provide us with.

Effective September 1, 2024

Our business has expanded thanks to our wonderful clients and referrals, and we are so blessed and grateful.
2024 We had nine new furbabies join our Stella pack! We have reached our potential of accepting new customers, unfortunately. We did our best to accommodate everyone throughout the years, and we need to take a step back in the limit of dogs we can accept at the same time.
We want to ensure we keep our rates and quality the same and not be obliged to hire anyone.

Reservations
Boarding charges begin on the day of drop-off, regardless of time.
Pets picked up prior to 3pm are not charged for that day.

When the doorbell rings, we have wireless alarms, and this is causing excess barking and
anxiety for dogs.
Going forward, we will ask you to call or send a message when you will be arriving in order
for us to prepare your dog's items.
We will meet you outside in order to avoid the barking and anxiety of the other dogs.

Late/early pick-up/EARLY

There will be a flat fee if picked up after 3 pm
No fee if your dog is picked up before 3 pm.

If you pick up your dog between 3 and 6 $20 fee
If the dog is picked up anytime after 6 pm, there is a fee of $30.
We need everyone to play their part and respect the date and times confirmed for the pick-up/drop-up so that this doesn't affect other clients dates.
If you're flight is delayed and your dog needs to spend an extra night we will be billing for that evening as we always have.

Going forward, any reservation requires a 50% deposit. Your deposit is processed at the time you make your reservation and is applied to your total upon check-out. You do not have a confirmed reservation until your deposit is received. We will only hold in to the spot for 7 days without a deposit; afterwards, the spot will be available to another client. We will send an email to advise the spot was cancelled.
There will be no refunds if you cancel for any reason. However, it will be used as a credit for the next time you book with us.
Deposits can be made by e-transfer to [email protected].
Password is Stella.

Once the deposit is made, send us a message, and we will confirm the reservation.
Bookings for 2025
We will be sending a message to our regular clients first in November for their dates for 2025. I will only take bookings starting in late November and will be reaching out first to our regular clients, then will accept reservations from other clients.
We want to make sure we are treating everyone equally and fairly.
We want to be organized and plan our year ahead.

We will not be taking any summer bookings until the end of April, as we will be off for a few weeks in the summertime. We don't have the specific dates yet, but when we do, we will post them. If you require a confirmed booking for the summer and we cannot confirm it we completely understand if you need to book somewhere else. We have a place we can reccomend that we personally use for our two yorkies. You can send us a message and we will provide the details.

We have had many cancellations last minute, and this prevented us from accepting other dogs as we were full. We try not to book more than two dogs at the same time depending on the situation and dog; sometimes it overlaps, and we have more than two dogs.
We want to be sure that when your dog is in our care, we are providing them with the attention they deserve.

Oreo is excited as he is going home today after being with us for 19 days! It was his first time at Stella's Place and hopefully not his last! He adapted very well here and was sociable and loving to all his canine roomates.

Today we received sad news that Lucky 14 year old sweet boy passed away. I had the honor of watching him for 4 days and we bonded instantly. He was such a sweet boy. He will be missed by his owners and by his canine siblings Bella & Leo.
You were a fighter till the end and you are no longer suffering. We will always hold a special place in our hearts for you. Thank you for accepting Stella and Theo and for the memories. R.I.P sweet boy💕🐾

Subject: Important Changes to Our Services Starting January 1, 2025
Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to advise you that there will be new changes and processes starting on January 1, 2025.
We are always trying to improve our services and offer the best vacation for your dogs. We have made many exceptions, even last minute, and have taken more dogs than we usually do, especially during peak season.
Starting next year, we will be a little more strict with reservations. We will only be taking summer requests starting in March 2025, as we will be closed for a few weeks in the summer (dates to be determined)

Our Story

We are an animal loving family with 2 dogs of our own that loves canine company! My dog Stella is very friendly and sociable and loves having friends over :) Her brother Theo is a rescue tea cup yorkie who we added to the family almost 3 years ago.

We only accept small breeds max 15 pounds for the security of our dogs as well as yours.

We only take a maxim of 4 dogs for daycare per day and 4 per Dog Boarding. We don't want to overbook like so many other places where your dog might get lost in the crowd. Here once your pet is under our care they will get tons of love and affection on a constant basis. We make them part of our family We don't use cages and pets are allowed on the couch and can sleep there comfortably. There is no kids living here. Very peaceful and secure environment for your pet. You will get daily pictures and updates when your dog is in our care.
