On December 3, 2023, I visited Petey in Montreal, Canada. I had just recently arrived in Canada.

Do you remember Petey? He’s the sweet dog I rescued on New Year’s Eve in 2022. He was curled up, freezing, and sleeping in front of an Adidas store. Just 10 days after his rescue, I sent him to Canada for adoption. Petey quickly won everyone’s hearts and became a beloved and respected little soul.

I was beyond happy to see Petey again and to witness how deeply loved and happy he is. He is such a beautiful and kind dog, spreading love and joy everywhere he goes, his kindness is truly contagious.

A huge thank you to Joanne Bourelle and her wonderful family for adopting Petey and giving him an amazing life, as well as for welcoming me so warmly and for the lovely gifts. I’m truly grateful!

P.S. The full story about Petey is available via the following links:

🇨🇦❤️ I am beyond happy to announce that Bumi is Officially Adopted!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting Bumi to finalize her adoption process. First and foremost, I want to express my deep gratitude to Ferne and Jacques for their warm welcome, a beautiful evening, and a delicious dinner. But most importantly, for opening their hearts and home to Bumi, giving her a life filled with love and care.

Seeing Bumi so loved and happy in her new family brought me so much joy. You can see the difference in her eyes and in her behavior—it’s clear that she knows she is finally home. She was overjoyed to see me and absolutely loved the toy and treats I brought for her.

For those who don’t know Bumi’s story, she was rescued in Jordan before making her way to Montreal. When Ferne and Jacques applied to adopt her, I was immediately drawn to them and knew they were a perfect match. However, I asked them to foster her for a week first, to ensure that both Bumi and her new family were truly meant for each other. And I was right—they are perfect together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports the rescue and adoption of voiceless animals. Your kindness and compassion make the world a better place❤️🙏

Special thanks to Ferne Shuster, Jacques Perez and Richard Villeneuve, for being part of Bumi’s journey to happiness!

Welcome home, sweet Bumi! 🏡🐶❤️

🇨🇦Yesterday, I shared Gaston’s story (formerly Gufy), whom I sent to Canada for adoption three years ago. Today, I’m posting new photos that capture his wonderful life with his loving family. Gaston is truly thriving—adventurous, happy, and more beautiful than ever. I couldn’t be happier for him and am deeply grateful to his amazing adopters.

The first video was taken in September 2021 at Zvartnots Airport—the day I sent him off to his new life in Canada.

A Heartwarming Reunion with Gaston (Previously Gufy) ❤️
Three years ago, I sent Gaston to Canada, to find him the perfect forever home. His new life in Canada started with an amazing foster family, who took care of him while I searched for the right match. Little did I know that fate had already planned something special—my dear friend DnieleDnièle Houde would fall in love with Gaston and adopt him, giving him the most wonderful life!

On April 5, 2024, I had the joy of reuniting with Gaston. Seeing him so happy, well-cared-for, and enjoying his best life in Canada filled my heart with gratitude and happiness. He truly lives like a prince, with so much love from Dniele and her boyfriend. The funniest thing? Like many big dogs, Gaston has no idea how big he is—he happily sits on our knees as if he were a tiny lap dog!

I am endlessly grateful to Dniele and her boyfriend for giving Gaston such a beautiful life. Thank you to my amazing adopters, Heather and Ken, who incredibly supported me and fostered Gaston for me until I could find him a loving permanent home. A huge thank you also to my friends Hakob and Arpine, who originally saved Gaston in Armenia. Without them, this happy ending wouldn’t have been possible.

Sharing some photos and videos from our beautiful reunion. Gaston’s journey is proof that love changes lives❤️🐾

🇨🇦❤️Jenny’s Happy Story
Jenny’s journey began in Yerevan, where she was abandoned in a park at just two months old. Had she stayed in Armenia, she would never have had the incredible life she now enjoys in Canada.

From the moment she was rescued to the day she arrived in Canada, so much effort, love, and dedication went into giving Jenny a second chance. It wasn’t easy, but we did it—and I couldn’t be prouder or happier for her.

Today, Jenny is living her best life, filled with adventures, vibrant colourful moments, and endless love, all thanks to my amazing adopters, Maëlle and Camille. They are truly the best! Jenny goes everywhere with them—she has even traveled to the U.S. and experienced her first moments in the ocean.

And, fun fact—Jenny now owns more jackets than I do😂❤️

Reunion with My Beloved Henri in Canada❤️🇨🇦

Henri, one of Aurora’s five puppies, was initially named Charley. I sent him to Canada 1.5 years ago when he was just a 4-month-old pup. Three days ago, I visited Henri and was both surprised and excited when he recognized me. It’s quite rare for a dog to remember someone from their early puppyhood.

When I sent Henri to Canada, he was so small, barely weighing 10 pounds. Now, I’ve met a big boy weighing 72 pounds. He had a challenging life, changing families twice before I found the wonderful Marianne, who loved Henri at first sight. Despite realizing all the challenges, she adopted him. Marianne did an incredible job, transforming a scared little pup into a confident, well-behaved, and gentle giant who steals hearts and is the favorite of the neighborhood. Even from afar, despite all the challenges I kept everything under my supervision and finally found the perfect home for my sweet Henri.

Henri has become such a unique, gorgeous dog with long eyebrows and a uniquely beautiful face. He was so sweet and well-behaved; he stole my heart all over again.

I’m posting a video of my reunion with the gorgeous Henri in its entirety, without any cuts. It may seem long, but I want many people to hear how hard it was for Marianne initially. She never told me anything; she is such an incredible woman who understood why Henri was so stressed—he even lost a lot of weight. With immense love and patience, Marianne transformed Henri into a gorgeous, incredible prince. Both Marianne and I couldn’t stop hugging each other and expressing our gratitude. She was thanking me for bringing Henri into her life, and I was thanking her for making Henri’s life the best.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: Charley, now Henri, captured my heart from the very first moment because he resembled my missing Charlie, who was under my care years ago. I named him after my lost Charlie because the pup had a mustache like him. I couldn’t protect my senior Charlie from the two-legged beasts of Armenia, but instead, I saved Charlie Junior, who is now adorable Henri❤️

May all animals find forever loving families.

🇨🇦I sent Sunny (my Arev) to Canada for adoption in September 2022. In February 2024, I visited her in Canada at his adoptive family’s home. I was so happy to see Sunny again—now very happy, well cared for, and safe.

Sunny has fallen in love with Canada, even its harsh winters! She is practically a running champion—no dog in the park can catch up to or match Sani. She always wins, proudly raising the Armenian tricolor in victory 😂👏❤️

I’m sharing the video of our reunion in a reality-style format, without cutting any footage.

Currently, Sunny is staying with me due to very sad and unexpected circumstances that prevent her adoptive family from giving her the proper care and attention she deserves. For now, she will be living at my friends’ home until I find her the perfect family.

🇦🇲🇨🇦 Armenian dogs are achieving great things abroad!
A year ago, I sent Phoebe from Armenia to Canada for adoption. Elise adopted Phoebe and has given her a wonderful life. Today, I’m proud to share that Phoebe has become a model, promoting smart medallions for the Canadian brand Marengo.

I should also mention that Phoebe is the second Armenian dog-model in Canada among the dogs adopted from me—the first being the beautiful Agi, who was rescued from the garbage dumps of Vanadzor.

I’m so proud of my smart and beautiful Armenian dogs!

❤️Laila❤️🇨🇦
I rescued Layla in September 2021 and sent her to Canada for adoption two months later. In 2023, when I arrived in Canada, I had the joy of visiting little Layla.
Layla is the sister of Raffi, about whom I wrote a few days ago, sharing the story of how I treated him for leishmaniasis and sent him to Canada for adoption. Today, I want to tell you about Layla.

Let me remind you of her story. A nursing mother dog and her puppies were abandoned in the yard of a school in Aresh district of Yerevan. Although I was overwhelmed with the number of animals I was already caring for, I couldn't ignore them. Layla and Raffi were two of the puppies, and their mother was Isabella. I shared their story on my social media pages, and wonderful families from Canada immediately applied to adopt both the mother dog and the puppies. In this way, I was able to save the whole family.

Layla was adopted by an Armenian family living in Canada. When I visited Canada in 2023, Layla and her adopter, Palig, came to visit me, and later, I had the pleasure of visiting Layla in her new home. Layla surprised me in the sweetest way—she can sing! She sang beautifully for me, and it made me so happy to see how loved and happy she is in her new family.

I want to thank Palig for choosing to adopt from her homeland instead of buying a dog, and for giving Layla such a beautiful life in Canada.
P.S. I'm sharing some old and new photos and videos of Layla, including moments from our reunion in Canada ❤️

❤️My great love Raffi❤️🇨🇦
I saved my Raffi in September 2021, treated from leishmaniasis and sent to Canada for adoption on December 24, 2021. And 2 weeks after my arrival in Canada on October 13, 2023 I made it a priority to visit my little Raffi 🙂
Let me tell you how I saved little Raffi and cured him from leishmaniasis in 2021. By the way, the adopters named him Raffi after searching online for an Armenian male name.

It all started when a nursing mother dog, along with her puppies, was abandoned in the yard of a school in Aresh. One of my fellow animal lovers, Sona Gharabakhtsyan, asked me to rescue them. The photos were unbearable—an emaciated, desperate, starved mother dog with her puppies hanging from her breasts, clinging to her, trying to get milk from her starving body. Even though I was overwhelmed with animals already under my care, I couldn’t turn my back on them. That’s how Raffi, his sister Laila, and their mother Isabella came under my care. Today, the whole family is living their best life in Canada.

One day, I’ll share in more detail the difficult journey Raffi and I went through. He was only 3 months old, I had just rescued him when I noticed a strange lump in his eye. Sensing something was wrong, I rushed him to Dr. Vahe Mkrtchyan’s vet clinic for examination. My world shattered when the puppy was diagnosed with leishmaniasis. I cried out in despair, and Dr. Vahe’s assistant, Anahit, was trying to comfort me, telling me this wasn’t the first case—she had already seen how I cured another four dogs from that disease. Raffi was so small, innocent, and kind, yet his face was becoming covered in deep wounds as each day passed. I wasted no time, ordered the medicine from Germany and started the pup’s treatment. I treated him with care, as though he were my child, and he would fall asleep in my lap as I nursed him back to health. I'll never forget Raffi sleeping in my arms, curled around my neck like a scarf.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Paola, who never gave up on Raffi, even after his diagnosis. She trusted me, patiently waiting two months while I treated him before sending him to Montreal with cargo service. Paola continued the treatment I started for the next year, giving Raffi so much love and beautiful, happy life in Canada.

Thank you to my friend Liana for sending the expensive medicine Milteforan from Germany, dear Liana, you have always helped me to get drugs that are not available in Armenia, and I’m forever thankful.
Thanks to my animal loving friend Kima for helping me financially.
Thanks to Sona, for reaching out to me as soon as she saw that abandoned family and asked for help.
Finally, thank you to everyone who helps animals.
P.S. I share both old and new photos and videos. ❤️
