Je m’appelle Marguerite, une charmante American Staffordshire de 10 ans, au cœur tendre et aux manières délicates. Je suis une véritable amoureuse des caresses et des moments de douceur, toujours prête à recevoir de l’affection. J’apprécie tout autant les balades, ces instants précieux où je peux marcher fièrement aux côtés de mes humains.

Ce que je recherche avant tout, c’est un foyer calme et chaleureux, où je pourrais partager des moments de complicité et de sérénité. Un foyer sans autres animaux serait idéal, car j’aime avoir toute l’attention pour moi, sans avoir à la partager.

Si vous rêvez d’une compagne fidèle, affectueuse, et prête à vous offrir des années d’amour inconditionnel, je suis celle qu’il vous faut.

Marguerite fait partie de notre mission museau gris, qui réduit les frais d’adoption pour donner la chance à nos chiens plus âgés de trouver une famille plus rapidement!

Petunia Update - Operation Done!

Petunia (Gina) gained enough weight to have her tail amputation performed by the skilled team at Vetspress, today.

The operation went very well and all the infected area of the tail was removed. She now has a clean and healthy tail left.

She is not in pain as she is on painkillers but is very displeased by the cone and is now sulking and swearing somewhat in kitten language for being forced to wear the cone of shame. 🙃

A huge thank you to the entire Vetspress team. An amazing group let by Dr. Lissa Altschuler and supported by such caring and capable professionals. Her foster, Samantha Blair has been a wonderful caregiver and she could not be in better hands.

The funds raised for Precious who sadly did not make it will be going towards Petunia's operation and care. Thank you all who donated. That's a huge help. In honour of Precious.

Petunia Update - Cuteness Overload! 🐾🐾

Petunia (aka Gina because she is so spicy!) is having a grand time hanging out with the amazing team at Vetspress. Current foster Samantha Blair, Dr. Lissa and the entire team are doing everything to ensure the infection in her tail is kept at bay until she weighs enough to have her operation. She has been getting hydrotherapy and it has helped a great deal. 💧💧

She will see the surgeon on Monday and if she is strong and sturdy enough, she may have the amputation on Monday morning.

In the meantime, she has been schmoozing up the Vetspress clientele by day and also acting as office manager as you can see in the pic below. Doubling up as the receptionist, Petunia likes to take cat naps in between. 🥰🥰😻😻

Petunia’s Health Update

Petunia’s tail is still quite infected. It looks like it may have been severed by a fan belt of a car when she was seeking warmth.
She is still too small to have the surgery so she is receiving antibiotics in the meantime. As soon as she weighs enough, the infected part of the tail will be amputated.

Other than her tail, she is a very happy kitten, soaking in all the love and affection she is getting.

Here she is having a cat nap in between play times. 😻

Petunia is not yet ready for adoption but will clearly make a wonderful addition to a loving home when the time comes.
