We continue to deliver product innovation, flexibility and logistics – all of which put us in a category of our own. As animal lovers in the business of servicing the nutritional needs of companion animals, we find clarity in helping dogs and cats who are in a tough way – equally so, the shelters that are supporting their needs. As such, we enjoy contributing to different rescue organizations in the form of pet food donations.

We start the 2024 year off with a donation!

Spectrum Feed Services has graciously donated 1817 bags of premium pet food products to 5 carefully selected local charity rescues. Shelters located in Lucknow, Holyrood, Kitchener, Arthur and Wallenstein have received these premium pet food products. Giving back to our community, including those with paws, is near and dear to our organization - making their winter just a little cozier!

Mark (General Manager) and Dannie (delivery team member) were able to personally deliver the 5 drops to see first hand the difference it makes. Some of the stories they heard were a little sad, but most were heartwarming. 🥰

This fine crew covered 10 km of concession 8 ditches both ways in and out of Moorefield today! Glad to help cleanup lovely Moorefield! Great work Spectrum Feed Services small pac team from Booth St location. Approx. 500 lbs picked up. Thanks to some nice passer by who offered some snacks along the way 😁

We are stronger together!!! THANK YOU to the Toronto and Montreal Humane Societies for distributing the pet food we donated to hungry pets during these challenging days! 45,800 lbs of pet food was distributed with support from carriers who ran over 1800 kms! THANK YOU to Enviro Eze Transport, Sylvite Transportation Group, and Gastronome Animal Inc. So much good is happening across our great country with companies joining together and giving back.

Spectrum Feed Services Ltd. has been keeping up with the latest news about the COVID-19 outbreak, and we understand you may be concerned about what is best for you and your livestock. We want you to know that we are prepared to do all that we can to continue to serve you safely and efficiently during these times. We have implemented an enhanced cleaning procedure for our truck drivers that are on farm delivering feed.

We consider Spectrum Feed Services to be an essential service, and we continue to operate as per usual. Our phones and emails are regularly monitored and answered to accept your orders, and our drivers are keen to deliver goods to you. We will practice social distancing when on farm.

We ask you only visit our office if you are healthy, have not traveled abroad recently, nor been in contact with someone who is ill. Thanks for working together to keep us all safe!

Pleased to advise...we just had our annual ISO 22000, PAS 222, FeedAssure, and HACCP & GMP audits. We were approved for all including the following food safety standards:

HACCP: Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points System; this indicates we have assessed our procedures for potential food safety concerns, and put documented controls in place. A third party auditing body has verified the steps we have taken, reviewed records, and we are annually inspected to confirm we withhold these standards.

ISO2200: is an internationally recognized Food Safety Management System that provides assurance we have implemented an effective food safety plan and management system. This goes beyond HACCP and looks at more than just food safety – this looks at operational things as well.

PAS 222: This standard is used in combination with ISO22000. It is an industry-specific standard to control product safety in the manufacturing of animal feed.

FeedAssure: is a feed safety management and certification program developed by the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada (ANAC) specifically for the Canadian feed industry. It is a customized full HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) program of processes and controls that bring the highest safety standards to feed production.
