Donating your recyclables is a wonderful and generous way of helping pets. Every dollar raised stays HERE to support families and their pets in our city.

Thank you for caring and taking time to drop off your aluminum/tin beverage cans, beer bottles, milk jugs, juice boxes and liquor bottles. If you have glass, please store it in a cardboard box and leave it beside the bin. It’s for the safety of our staff.

Meet: Odin ❤️
Owners: Karen and Brennan Hovind

We adopted Odin right before Christmas 2023. We weren’t necessarily looking to add to our family as we had lost our boy Bandit just a few months prior, but when I saw a post of Odin, I told my husband ‘let’s just put an application in and see what happens’ and then we got the call the very next my day!

Odin is a sweet boy who really doesn’t know his size. He loves to cuddle and sit in your lap on the couch. He isn’t afraid to wake you up with body flops and face licks.

He is absolutely obsessed with this 12 year old sister Jada and he convinces her to play with him as often as he can. He also loves his cat sisters, but is way too in their face for their liking.

He has passed puppy school, but is still learning not to pull on a leash when walking and where the boundaries of our acreage are when off leash. He’s learned a lot of tricks and will do anything for a treat.

He’s enjoyed many walks and loves to swim in any body of water he can find. He has so much energy, it keeps us all on our toes!

We are so lucky to have Odin in our family & have loved seeing him grow into the big, loving boy he is.

Thanks to MJHS for connecting us with our boy.
