Client post:
Yesterday's dental session for my 10 horses was a lengthy process. Porshe required extra attention due to stubborn caps, while the others needed routine maintenance. My Blue's teeth were in excellent condition, requiring minimal work. Sox and Elle have reached an age where annual dental care is really crucial. The dentist was impressed by Mary's gentle nature and wanted to load her up and take her home. I highly recommend April and her expertise and commitment are to be admired . Previously, she stopped by on one of her trips going through and assessed my horses' size requirements and immediately invested in specialized equipment for Miniature Horses to ensure their comfort. For you people that don’t know what some of these tools cost, they are expensive. Her investment was so appreciated , as the smaller horses experienced no cuts or bruising from the regular designed heads and she was able to get up into the backs of their tiny mouths which others hadn’t always been able to do with regular dentistry tools. Her work was exceptional, and working on your knees is not easy. Her tools she purchased for this visit far exceeded her charges. For those that don’t do regular dental care on your horses, it is so essential as it truly prevents unnecessary suffering. I chose not to do Elle’s teeth last year due to breeding her. I had waited four years and spent a wad of money with my Repro Vet to get her in foal and didn’t want to risk losing her foal. I regretted my decision and my eyes leaked when I felt the sharp points that caused painful ulcers. I extend heartfelt thanks to April from Performance Equine Dental for her outstanding service. Her professionalism and dedication are truly commendable.
Thank you Heidi for having me out to work on your miniatures and Miss Blue! Had a great day getting to know all these special little ladies ♥️
