ud to provide high level progressive medicine for your pet. In addition to her clinical practice Dr. Smith completed a Master of Public Health degree in 2012. This may cause you to scratch your head but veterinarians are highly trained in zoonotic infectious diseases ( diseases transferred between animals and humans). Today, many of us now know the importance of infectious diseases and how they can have devastating effects on our lives because of COVID-19. At our practice we aim to educate and inform our clients and the various diseases our pets could potentially expose us to. It is this knowledge that allows us to be an important resource and sometimes important part of your health care team.

Community Veterinary Outreach is near and dear to my heart and I am asking friends, family, colleagues, clients, and anyone with a pet to sponsor my team and me, to raise money for Community Veterinary Outreact -York Region.
