The photo on the left is abscessed because the nail is grown inward.

The photo on the right, are different times we trimmed nails.

When a groomer or Vet trims your pets nails there’s always a chance of nicking the kwick.

It’s a catch 20/20 if you don’t want your pets nails short close to the qwick, say to your nail trimmer to only trim the tips off, therefore the nails won’t be as short as if you wanted them really short. If we do hit the kwick, your groomer uses septic powder.

We always recommend getting to know your groomer. This way you and your pet have a consistent, enjoyable visit each time you come

We love our jobs, offering a 7 day service , Tuesday evenings until 9pm and Sundays. We do the best we can by always being here for the unexpected nail trim types to make happy dog/cat owners !

We always encourage owners to check their pets at home to ensure the nails aren’t overgrown as each pet is different!

We had a Severely matted cat come in, although we were successfully able to make the kitty cat feel comfortable, it’s very important for us to make sure we are regularly grooming our furry friends as matting or in more severe cases ( Turtle shell ) can cause skin breakages and eventually infections. So a 10-15 min grooming a day goes a long way 😁
