We would like to congratulate Amy Van Oosten on her new role as Assistant Barn Manager.

Amy has been working at Rocky Six S Ranch Stables since 2019. Amy is friendly and willing to help out where ever she can! She has a tremendous work ethic and most importantly is passionate about horses and demonstrates excellent horse care.

She has been an asset and has displayed growing confidence, knowledge in stable management, horse care and training over her 5 years with us. Her proficiency and willingness to learn has given her several opportunities here and outside of work, including the opportunity to compete on the Canadian Young Breeders team in Denmark this past summer.

She has played a key roll both in the Caspian and the Six Love Warmblood breeding program. She has successfully helped foal out multiple horses in both programs and been active in their care.

Please join me in congratulating Amy on her outstanding contribution. We know she will preform admirably in her new roll.

Rocky Six S Ranch Stables located 10 minutes east of Cremona just south of the 580 on Lochend road has:
-group mare and gelding spots available for board August 1st
-3 Individual Paddock boarding spots available August 1st
-4 indoor spots available September 1st.

Rocky Six S Ranch Stables has a 180x100 main heated indoor arena, 150x80 second indoor heated arena, outdoor arena, 60 foot covered round pen, indoor heated barn, heated tack storage, hot and cold wash rack,solarium, lounge, full kitchen and outdoor riding for miles! We feed 3 times a day and offer a custom mineral mix that has been formulated to complement our hay at no charge! Rocky Six S Ranch Stables has a full security system, staff on site and an automatic gate! We have farriers and chiropractors out regularly!

We are home to 3 amazing horse programs!!!
Hines Equestrian, Equine Canada Certified Head Coach, Lauren Hines. Hines Equestrian is a successful Hunter/ Jumper program and Show Team with riders showing on the A Circuit!!

Kelsey Filkohazy Equestrian with Equine Canada Certified Head coach Kelsey Filkohazy. Kelsey runs a successful sales and horse training program as well as a Hunter/Jumper program with riders competing on the A Circuit!

Rocky six S Ranch Stables is Hiring. We are located 2 km south from the 580, on Lochend Road.

ISO Full- time stable hand Sunday- Thursday 8:00 am-4:30 , must be 18 years of age or older, have previous experience handling horses. The right candidate must be physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 60lbs and have reliable transportation.
Job duties include but are not limited to feeding, turn out and in, cleaning stalls, stacking hay, and general cleaning and yard duties around the facility. You must be capable of working independently, be reliable and pay attention to detail.

Rocky Six S Ranch Stables is looking to hire a full time barn team member. We are a busy multi-discipline boarding facility. The right candidate must be over 18 years of age, have previous horse experience, reliable, able to lift 60lbs, work independently and as part of a team and have reliable transportation to work. This is a Wednesday- Sunday 7:30am-4:30pm position. Must be available for all weekends that we are at horse shows. Some weekends off are available on request.

Job will include but not limited to:
- feeding horses and other animals
- blanketing and turning in and out
- cleaning stalls
- maintenance of arenas
- cleaning other areas of facility
- yard maintence
- Providing care for horses (medications, etc)
- Bringing horses in for appointments
- Fixing and building fences

Competitive starting wage!
