There is nothing more jarring at 4 am than to find your 14 year old daughter crying because of the result of the 2024 US election. I had no idea that she was following it, or understood the magnitude of this atrocious outcome. I am so proud of her, that she has the intelligence to know how awful this truly is. Any of my American friends, I have an extra room for the next four years... if you need it.
