Happy New Year!!! 🎉✨

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas / holiday break and new year. I had a week off with some much needed rest and am ready to start 2024.

Back in the salon as of January 2nd

Thank you everyone for being such amazing clients and so good to your dogs. I can't wait to put in another year of haircuts, treats and puppy cuddles!

I wrapped up grooming 2023 yesterday and will be off work until January 2nd!

I can't express how grateful I am for all of you. Your generosity throughout the year and with my food drive, as well as voting for me to win an award, is just incredible.

As always thank you so much for trusting me with your puppies and keeping me busy all year long. Since moving to Nanaimo in 2017 and spending 7 Christmases here, I have seen how amazing this community is and I am grateful to be a small business who is a part of that.

The 2023 food drive is going great! Thanks to everyone who has helped make this tradition a yearly event at my salon. As someone who grew up relying on food banks, it's really life changing for families to be able to rely on food banks when times are tough. Having a full belly is a necessity and no one deserves to go hungry ❤️

❗❗A reminder that fleas are active on Vancouver island all year long!❗❗

Yes even when it's cold and frozen! I don't require dogs to be on a medicated treatment to see me but I will send a dog home if I find fleas because I cannot risk them getting into my home. Fleas are very hardy and can live everywhere. Especially with all the deer, rabbits and roaming cats around, your dogs can pick up fleas even on a walk through your neighbourhood.

Some flea free tips :
- keep your dog on a flea treatment from the vet all year long. Don't skip the winter months!
-vacume floors and couches / wash bedding regularly in hot soapy water
-use a dog friendly natural flea repellent before walks / dog park visits
-when bathing your dog, let them soak in the sudsy shampoo for 10-15 mins to help kill any live fleas

We are so thankful for the amazing support from our community each time we reach out to ask for items. Again, we are looking for your help!

-dog toys

I know it seems early but many people only have 1 appointment left before Christmas so I may not see you until the new year! In the past I have matched item for item but it seems they can make really good use of Dollar donations too so this year that's what Ive decided to do . So you donate 1 can I donate $1. Oh my goodness I can’t believe it but I won #1 pet groomer in Nanaimo with the Community votes . Last year I received bronze and this year a platinum award 😭😭😭❤️
I don’t have enough words to say how grateful I am for all my amazing clients and supporters. I really work hard for my business and it’s an amazing feeling to be recognized for that. Thank you everyone who voted and shared and made this happen for me 🥹❤️

I had a chance to try the new 2.0! It's a solid form of the product that dilutes in water. Love the eco friendly option! I can definitely say it's the same Marshmello that I'm used to which is great. I expected some difference in the texture of the product but once the Rollie is dissolved, it is the same that I'm used to!!!!

🐾 December also filling up, consider booking in advance, I have much less wiggle room these days 🐾

This also means if you cancel / no show an appointment, it could be 2 months before you're able to get in again. I absolutely love what I do but a work life balance is important for me too 😊❤️
