How do you keep your dog safe during hunting season?!

Because we're out in the forest so often, this is always on our mind.

1. Have a bright orange coat or bandana, so Ember can be easily distinguished as a dog.

3. Try to desensitize Ember to sounds of gun shots, although that's a work in progress due to a recent encounter.

We're going on holiday!! ☀️ We'll be back on Nov 17th! Ember's going to stay with Grandma and Grandpa, and we've got friends coming to keep her rehab on track.

We're back from holidays! Ember was the best little travel buddy we could have asked for. It was WAY too hot to go on any real adventures, but we got a bit of exploring done.

We visited city parks, provincial campsites, rec sites, and the ferries, and Ember rocked all of it!!

We're excited to be back at the markets, though!
