Buckles arrived today for the ©️Round Robin Series!

One of these beauties were sponsored by Alanna Perrott Private Insurance ~ get coverage for all the fun stuff in life that your current provider won’t cover you for.

And the other was sponsored by Heartland Aliminum Trailers (Weldon Peters), building the best horse trailers money can buy.

Still room for a couple headers, heeling is full.

**edit - heeling is full at the finals, 3 heading spots still available**

…And the plot thickens…

After the Round Robin last night we have a race on our hands! Dennis Hambling has caught up to Rob Robinson in the points race for the high point saddle and they are now in a dead heat going into the finals on March 15. And just to keep it interesting, Eddy Anderson, Karen ‘Crying Hole’ Bregar and Bill Manness are hot on their heels just a few points back.

Taking the W in the heading was Johnny Cole who rode two different borrowed horses, one from Deb Groves, the other from Kelly Quinn. Johnny filled his jeans with $1,000 cash. Lane Boisjoli roped very consistent and took top honours in the heeling pocketing $1,300.

Blair Boisjoli (Lane’s son) showed the adults how to rope last night, taking home $750 cash. Second place heeler was Dennis ‘D Money’ Hambling riding his trusty old mount Beelzebub. Dennis has mentioned that the finals on March 15 will be the horse’s last roping and he will be retired afterwards.

The finals buckles are on their way and I’ll post a picture when they arrive. Thank you so much to our buckle sponsors who graciously donated them without even being asked. Alanna Perrott Independent Insurance and Heartland Aluminum Trailers (Weldon Peters).

The high point saddle sponsored by Manness Rope Horses (Bill and Val Manness) will also be here any day now… Bill and Val stepped up on their own to sponsor this saddle for the high point roper of the series. Please be sure to keep them in mind when you’re looking for your next rope horse prospect, or at least remember to thank them both.
**Of note there are 3 Manness bred rope horses in the top 5 of the round robin standings (Eddy Anderson, Colleen Pentlechuck & Bill Manness)**

Entries are now open for the finals and filling quickly!

Welcome to the winners circle! We got some new champions last night at the ©️Round Robin.

Happy New Year!
Last night we had a great time at the New Years Eve round robin.

Top header of the night was Adrian Amparano and top heeler was Dale Valentine. Both guys roped outstanding and each took home $1,400 cash.

Second place was Rob Robinson (header) and Shane Mahon (heeler). Rob and Shane each won $1,000 cash for their efforts.

‘Mama Sue’ Malin was handing out delicious hamburgers, hotdogs and snacks and the entire cost of the food was picked up by Bill and Val Manness ~ Manness Rope Horses. Thank you both for your generous support making sure everyone got fed.

I appreciate everyone coming out and thank you to my announcer - Beth, chute help - Lexi, steer pusher - Bob and st*****rs Kyle and Amber Jacobson.

See you again on January 11 for the ©️Round Robin (Saddle Series).

The ©️Round Robin series had another great roping last night with more repeat winners.

Heading was won by Eddy Anderson and heeling was won by Kevin Perrott. Each roper took home $1,300 cash and added some precious points towards the high point saddle race.

Second place header was Rob Robinson and heeler was Derick McLean, each taking home $800 cash.

Rob now leads the high point race for the saddle which is sponsored by Manness Rope Horses (Bill and Val Manness). This saddle will be presented to the high point roper of the series after the finals.

We also would like to welcome Alana Perrott Independent Insurance on board as a finals buckle sponsor. Sometimes getting insurance can be difficult when you compete in ‘high risk’ events with horses, dirt bikes etc. but Alana has you covered. Give her a call and she’ll get you sorted out.

Also welcoming back Heartland Aluminum Trailers (Weldon Peters) as the other finals buckle sponsor. For those of you that don’t know Weldon, he’s is the guy that makes those highly sought after Heartland Horse trailers. Weldon also does all kinds of trailer repair and customizations as well.

Thank you to Lloyd for running the gate, Beth for announcing and the boys at the strip chute (Blaze and Tristin).

Next ©️Round Robin (saddle series) is on January 11 and entries are open.
