This beautiful girl was bred and raised by us, and has been well loved and started correctly at an age appropriate time in her life when she was mature enough both physically and emotionally to deal with the pressures of expanding into a whole new world. As a result, I am proud to offer Nomi up for sale with a lovely mind, safe, clean and blank slate and absolutely no vices to a loving home only.

Nomi is out of the exceptionally well bred premium warmblood mare MJ Makes Waves and sired by well known, registered Sport Horse Clydesdale stallion Battle Creek Jasper.
Interested, inquisitive and curious, Nomi has great ground manners combined with an incredible work ethic, is a smart and fast learner, forward thinking, brave, willing, level headed and loves to engage with her person.

During the first part of her education, she had 2 months of professional training in the Spring of 2024 with Watson-Wilson Performance Horses, then enjoyed the summer off for a little soak time to do a little more growing and to just enjoy being a horse. We had sold her mother a few months prior so she had been on her own with no issues at all, then was boarded with three other horses and got along well with both mares and geldings. She was exposed to buffalo, big machinery, lots of wildlife including bears and took everything in stride. Her ground training included standing quiet to be saddled and bridled, tied, ropes, baggies and tarps put all over her, ground driven, lunged both in the round pen and later a larger arena. The second part of her training she learned to be mounted while standing quiet, walk, jog and a little loping. Nomi was non reactive and steady throughout and showed absolutely zero silly behaviour with not a buck or bolt even when asked to lope for the first time.

The last part of her training was an additional 30 days of professional training in October 2024 with well known dressage coach Jessica Hannah of Dark Horse Dressage. Nomi extended her knowledge in being ridden english walk, trot and canter, learned to yield to the leg, reach for contact in the bridle, trot poles, a few small jumps and was very balanced throughout. She tracks up very well and naturally and drives strong from her hind end. She is super athletic with the lovely stretchy and elastic movement she got from her Dam which would make her an excellent candidate for dressage, her natural walk is already a 10. With her being built very uphill combined with her braveness, she would also excel as an eventer. Nomi is sure to be a show stopper in the ring in really any direction you want to take her!

Nomi has zero vices, loads and hauls great, easy keeper, no mare-ish behaviour, great for farrier and has excellent balanced and strong hooves so doesn’t require shoes. All worming and vaccinations are up to date, had her teeth checked in the Spring and all good. References from vet and trainers available, full pre purchase exam welcomed, lots of video available as well as parents registrations etc. Should mature to between 16.1-16.3 hh, last two pictures are of Nomi’s parents.

The beautiful RSH Royal Grace Note is soon to be a citizen of the Aloha State of Hawaii.

I believe this beauty will miss the snow but I’m looking forward to visiting her and booping that nose one day under the palm trees 🌴🥰

Finally getting that cold snap that we have been waiting for and wanting! It was a horrible beginning of winter with so much mud.

The beautiful ladies of RSH are now sporting their noticeable baby bumps!

Here’s to an uneventful foaling season, with all foals set to arrive in May. What do we have baking in those baby bumps?

The 2024 foaling season has come to an end. This year has been one for the books and not in a good way.

We started out the season with a premature foal, which we lost. Our second foal displaced his patella and we lost him too. It felt like the nightmare would never end!

With two foals left to be born there was a lot of stress, tears, anxiety and reflection. After 20 years of breeding we have never had this type of loss. We worked with great vets and came to the conclusion we were dealing with mineral deficiency. In these 20 years we have only ever relied on multiple types of mineral blocks. Well that just isn’t enough anymore. We started the last two mares on high quality daily trace minerals and added iodine. Then we waited and waited for the thrid foal to come.

Colter as we call him was perfect and born June 1 🤩 the tears of sadness were replaced by tears of joy. It wasn’t over here though. We had one more, which we welcomed on June 29th and he is perfect too 🤩!

Though this year has been filled with so much loss and heartbreak 💔, we have come out with knowledge and a form of strength I can’t even begin to describe.

Thank you for supporting our breeding program. It isn’t easy being a breeder but we will move forward and continue to bring you the highest quality draft crosses we possibly can.

*SOLD*RSH Royal Serenade is being offered for sale. She is a 2021 filly by Battle River Jasper (Clydesdale) and out of Pumpkin (TB).

This filly is outstanding and will make an amazing Eventer but will also excel in many other directions. She is smart, brave, and has a fantastic disposition. Serenade will mature 16.2 hh, and has recent x-rays on file showing she is ready to move forward with her training undersaddle.

Bonbon is a cuddly teddy bear of a horse standing 14 hh. He's a calm, cool, chill guy and he has been an absolute pleasure to own. Bonbon is in your pocket and super friendly. If you aren't giving him enough attention he'll let you know he wants more. He's had tons of miles on trail, on the road, and he's as safe and solid as they come. We feel like he'll make someone a fantastic trail horse but he's got enough buttons and training with a nice enough feel to be taken in multiple directions.
