It was so much fun we're doing it again!!!

Come join us for more Hoopers workshops on SUNDAY NOVEMBER 3rd! Level 2 from 10-12 and Level 1 from 12:30-2:30 at Dogz!

Hoopers judge Arianne Arseneault will cover not only the basics of this fun new sport, but also the basics of distance work!She will introduce your dogs to the sports hoops, barrels, forward focus & drive and directional training. This workshop is open to dogs of all ages and sizes.

There are 6 working spots and unlimited auditor spots in each level. Cost is $40 for a working spot and $20 for auditors.

And that's a wrap for the season! Thank you to everyone who came out to help on this chilly day. All the equipment is safely tucked away for another winter.

It's that time of year when we have to put away the equipment for the season.

The date will be SUNDAY OCTOBER 27TH FROM 1-3PM

We'll need 4 strong guys at 1pm to move aframes, then a bunch more people at 1:45 pm to move everything else. Refreshments and snacks will be served!

This program has a heavy emphasis on handler focus, ignoring distractions, and leash manners. Plus so much more like "leave it" and come when called.

Because we train outdoors, we can create a real life environment that you see on your daily walks. Sights, sounds, and smells and of course, other dogs and people! Perfect for training!

Well, Dogz 20th Anniversary Party was a huge success! Although it was a little hot out, lots of people came out with their dogs and played the dog games that we had set up in each of the rings, socialized with old and new friends, had snacks and lunch at Fun-Days (my sister's catering company), enjoyed some anniversary cake and gathered under the pavilion for the big prize raffle! Lots of winners and some multiple winners like Pat (Naomi N Bailie's husband) who must have bought a hundred tickets as I drew his name about 5 times!

There were lots of laughs, and hugs and dog kisses, and I can't thank everyone enough for making this day such a heartwarming celebration. It's hard to believe 20 years have gone by - I have so many great memories of people and dogs I have had the pleasure of meeting and ultimately befriending, watching them grow from agility classes to incredible agility competitors. I am so thankful to have been part of their agility lives. Here's to many more years doing what we love 🥰

Looking for a chance to practice running courses in a trial environment? We're having an agility fun match this Sunday, and we'll be doing Standard and Snooker runs. You get two runs of each course at Starters, Advanced or Masters levels, or you can do your own sequences - your time in the ring is for whatever you want to do. Toys and treats are allowed too :o)

Whether your dog is just starting out (puppies included!) or if you've already started trialing, this is a great chance to get ring exposure in a relaxed environment.
