Nicky, Tikka, Piper and I had fun earlier this week working on our high and low hide nosework skills. Silverton turned out to be a veritable playground for our session! 🥰🤘❤
Daphne having fun
Our previous session was May 8th. She rocked all the games she is learning! So proud of Daphne. 😍
Here she is taking a break during our training session.
Check out what she is learning at: https://youtu.be/CPxdhlwR4rw?si=zpODSOlyErb0v68Y
Do dogs and people love nosework? Yessiree!🥰🐾🤘
During our Wednesday training sessions, Daphne was able to follow my food lure and do a complete right and left spin🎉🎯🥇.

My husband and I went skiing today and I tried out Piper's new skijoring equipment. Lots to learn but we had fun!

Piper and I are working on the 'Do More with Your Dog' trick "Baton Jump". We are working to get the trick to the point where she jumps the baton without needing a food lure!
Piper and I are making steady progress in our goal of "learn to love my skijoring harness when it is being put on".
Now all we need is snow!
Piper and I were walking the Galena Trail with some friends a few days ago. We took a moment to play some proximity building games.
Fennec put in a cameo appearance!
Took Piper to Silverton to do some container searches in a novel environment. She aced each of the searches!!
Nosework is an fun sport that any dog can do. It provides great mental stimulation, and lets you enter into your dogs world to discover how truly amazing your dog's nose actually is!😎
I'm offering my Intro to K9 Nosework class starting Nov 11th at 10:00am. The class is run live on-line so you can work in the comfort of your home.

Kales stalks make great chew sticks😍
I've finally pulled and processed the last of my kale. It will be turned into salads, soups, stir fries, and blended greens for Piper.
Last year I discovered that Piper likes to chew on the kale stocks so when I put out the first stalk of the session she spent a few minutes chewing away. 👍 I don't mind giving her a 'kale stalk recycling' project 🤣 before the stalks get composted in the spring 🌞

Rewarding what you want works!
