An outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to an outbreak in the United States is under investigation.

We received a surprise today from Smartvet, the company we work with to triage our after hours emergencies.
Temiskaming Veterinary Services was voted “Hospital of the month” by the Smartvet team. We were able to share these wonderful treats during our lunch break.

This senior boy Wolf will be at our adoption day on Sunday . A shelter is no place for a senior dog . This sweet 8 year old boy loves people so much and just wants to be with you . Wolf is a large breed golden mix . Come see him at adoption day

Mya Phippen has been a technician with us for less than 6 months, but she has been part of the TVS team since she was in high school. Here is the next spotlight Jenna Popkie. Jenna is the second veterinary assistant hired at TVS but she is the first hired for patient care and clinic organization. We had no idea how much the animals and the clinic needed a staff member like her. Thank you, Jenna, for all the hard work you do.

Nerissa Doy joined our team in 2020. Graduating from Ridgetown College, she came with a lot of large animal knowledge. She came to the north to take the wildlife program at Northern college, before joining the TVS team. She loves and is interested in all animals from snakes to bison.
