Duties are to include, but not limited to: pouring forms, skinning, fleshing and salting, brushing hides, shop clean up, form prep, hide prep, skull cleaning, sewing and more. Applicants should be hard working, trustworthy, pay attention to detail and eager to learn. Experience skinning and fleshing are assets but not necessary. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the taxidermy industry.

Alberta Taxidermy Studios is looking to hire 1 or 2 shop assistants.
Duties are to include but are not limited to: Skinning
Fleshing
Skull Cleaning
Brushing and cleaning of furs
Oiling and tanning of skins
Sewing (lots of sewing)
General cleaning
Mount preparation
Habitat assistance

Experience is an asset, but will train the right applicant. Successful applicant should be:
Hard working
Trustworthy
Eager to learn
Passionate about what they are working on
Work well with others as well as alone
Time management skills

This is for a part time position to start with room to turn into full time. Wage will be dependent on experience.
