The weather forecast calls for hot, humid weather this week. Please keep your best bud safe.

Your vehicle – even with the windows down – can quickly reach a temperature that puts your pet at risk of serious illness or death.

When the weather is warm, it’s best to leave your four-legged friend at home. If you can’t, use the drive-through, curbside pickup, or visit pet-friendly businesses to avoid a potentially tragic outcome.

If you encounter an animal in a vehicle that appears to be in distress (exaggerated panting; anxious or staring expression; muscle tremors; lack of coordination; red or blue tongue and lips; convulsions; vomiting; or collapse), call 911 and stay with the animal until officers arrive.

If you’re unsure if an animal is in distress, call the Nova Scotia SPCA - Enforcement at 1-888-703-7722 and speak with the call-taker.

❤️🐾 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Community 🐾❤️

We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your incredible support during a recent challenging time. As many of you know, one of our furry guests, a small pity named Emmie that won over my heart and my bed but still managed to dig a hole under our fence and go on an unexpected adventure.

Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our community, including dog trackers, family, friends, and even strangers who reached out with messages of support, we were able to locate the lost dog after an intensive search. The outpouring of assistance was truly phenomenal, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and concern shown by each of you.

To ensure the safety and security of all our furry friends, we are implementing additional measures, including the use of Apple AirTags for every dog that stays with us and reinforcing our fence with steel to prevent any future escape attempts.

Your support and understanding during this time mean the world to us, and we want to assure you that the well-being of your pets is always our top priority. We are committed to providing the highest level of care and safety for each and every furry guest who walks through our doors.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your incredible support and for being a part of the Tails of the Town family.

If you're looking for a locally made, fresh lunch then look no further! We have a new weekly fundraiser starting this Thursday - Soup for the Soul🍲 We will be selling lunches each & every week consisting of Soup, a Tea Biscuit and a Cookie for $10 EVERY THURSDAY!🤩

Any purchases will greatly help to cover our CEBA loans and Taxes and help us keep our doors open!❤

Pickup is between 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Delivery is between 11:30am - 1:00pm, the fee is $5.00

Delivery is free if 3 or more soups are ordered to one location but is only available to certain areas so please check before ordering!
