Some of you haven't met all of my own dogs but this is Nyx, my APBT. She's dog selective and only accepts limited dogs into her inner circle.

But here's her Mom (Envy) and sister (Noddy) visiting over the weekend. Nyx loves her Mama soooo much that she relentlessly pesters her with submissive appeasement gestures (to the point of exhaustion if I let her). Envy is sooo patient with her. And she and her sister play like baby dragon alligators (the sound likely terrifies my neighbours 😆).

*Nyx wasn't originally mine. She was purchased as a puppy and then boarded with me (to board and train). Her 'owner' abandoned me with her as she said she was too much for her to handle..she said she was a "gift" to me (or did she mean an approximately 15 year responsibility? 😉). I've loved her from the start, luckily. ❤️

FOSTER NEEDED 🚨

We have a 1-year-old, medium-sized spayed female who was supposed to transfer to the SPCA in Williams Lake, but they are currently closed due to a parvo outbreak. That means this sweet girl has nowhere to go.

She’s fully vaccinated, house trained, kennel trained, and very calm and easygoing. Great with kids, good with other dogs, and reported to be fine with cats. She’s on a couple of meds for some minor scratches/dermatitis but otherwise healthy and expected to heal quickly.

She’s currently safe with our vet clinic, but we need to find her a foster home as soon as possible. Flights out from Bella Coola can be arranged.

Pip says: uh-oh, Ruby at 10 o clock...play it cool, play it cool....oh, hi Ruby, how's your day going? Filled with plans of ridding the world of other dogs, animals, humans that get too close to your Mum going well then?

Ruby: please don't talk to me or look in my direction at any time.

Pip: oh, I wouldn't dream of doing so...dum de dum. Nobody to see here or in my periphery! Averts eyes in the most dramatic way possible...heh, I dont even see anyone near me, coming close to me with their hot demon chihuahua breath! I'm OK! I'll be ok...I will right? RIGHT? (looks over at me with pleading eyes for direction)...

Ruby: You'll do well to remember this encounter, Pip. For now, I will let you live. My mum says she would be upset if I included you in my world domination plans. So you may live another day... For now.....
