As I was going thru my camera roll, putting together this little recap, and it was amazing to relive everything that went down this year 🥰 feels like so much happened in such a short amount of time 😅
It’s was definitely a wild ride. Things started to get real and I learned so much of what it means to be a business owner.
I had days when not-knowing felt very uncomfortable, scary and overwhelming. (Not a big fan of those days but hey, that’s life!)
Most of my days, tho, were filled with fun, excitement and curiosity. I still can’t believe get to spend my days doing what I love the most: having fun with dogs—and that, on its own, is a dream come true 💜
I’m specially grateful for all the wonderful humans and dogs I got to connect with this year! It’s like the universe knows that I want and sends the most incredible clients, partners and allies my way ✨

Mistakes = Information 😌
Not too long ago, I took a dog training course where i was taught to see “errors as learning” and my life hasn’t been the same since.
I think this is a deeper concept that goes beyond dog training.
This little mindset shift has helped me in my personal life, my business life and, of course, when working with dogs.
Us humans, we tend to want things quick and instant. That’s why we get frustrated when mistakes happen.
But mistakes give us a sh*t ton of information to do it better next time—if we’re smart enough to see beyond our hurt egos (easier said than done).
Now, I try to see every mistake as an opportunity to get more information about the thing that I’m trying to achieve.
My belief is that the more information I gather from my fails, the more accurate my approach will be in the future 😉
Here’s just a little test of how I try to apply that mindset to my dog training.
Again, not always easy but ALWAYS worth it!
Ps. The course I learned this concept of “errors as learning” was “Success with Sensitive Dogs” by @helene.lawler from @fenzidogsportsacademy 😉

It’s all about the journey, not the destination 😉
I constantly record myself working with my dogs because I see every interaction with them as an opportunity to learn. To improve. To get better at my craft.
Just in this video, I see SO MANY THINGS I could’ve done better.
The perfectionist in me can get frustrated by that but I constantly remind myself that dogs don’t expect perfection from us.
They are masters of enjoying the process!
Look at Annie’s face here, she’s just happy we’re doing whatever this is. She’s happy we’re engaging. She’s happy we’re working together.
That’s why we do this. That’s why we train. Because is freaking fun :)
This is mostly a reminder for myself, but I’m sure someone out there could use it as well 🫶
