Meet Rama. He was out for a walk this weekend and came in with a few hitch hikers (ticks)😬. Lucky for Rama, his mom always does a thorough tick-check after a walk and has him on year-round prevention to kill any ticks that happen to bite.

A reminder that ticks can be out all year long. It’s now recommended to consider 12 months of tick and flea prevention because of our mild winters. It’s also very important for us humans to be checking ourselves if we’ve been out in the same tick-prone areas as our dogs!

Tick season is upon us! We’ve removed multiple ticks already this week. This one was the biggest by far!

Ticks love cool, damp weather. They live in tall grass and leaf litter. It’s important to check your pets as well as yourself if you are out in these areas with your pets.
