Ottawa OPP is asking for the public's assistance in trying to locate this dog.

He was last seen on September 16th along Hwy 417 near Panmure Road. His owner was in a collision, and the dog took off scared.

So far, all efforts to locate the dog have been unsuccessful. He's described as a being a male, black lab mix with a curly coat, two years old and was wearing a red harness with a pineapple collar.

If located, you can either contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 and reference case number E241241359 or contact the Cedarview Animal Hospital at 613-825-5001 and they will contact the owner.
