Dogs need daily walks to stay healthy, happy, and mentally stimulated. They also shouldn’t be left alone for too long, as they rely on companionship and routine to feel secure and well-behaved.

And that responsibility, love, and companionship make the relationship every bit as meaningful as raising a child.

As pets get older, their brains and bodies naturally go through changes. Just like people, they may become sore, tire more easily, and feel less able to handle sudden surprises. This can show up as irritability, a shorter fuse, or simply wanting a bit more personal space.
