FAQ’s: Are we allowed to bring additional props and outfit changes?
Absolutely! We highly encourage you to take advantage of your studio time, and create as many different styled poses! Bring any props and outfits that you need to have a successful photo shoot!
Note: Be sure to book your session in advance to avoid disappointment - the holidays are a busy time for us and preferred weekend time slots fill up fast!

Tips for a successful shoot at our Self Portrait Studio:
- Screenshot poses to recreate before your session (e.g. Pinterest posts, Instagram, etc.)
- Practice the poses ahead of time in front of the mirror, so you feel more comfortable before trying them at your session
- During your session, review each photo taken and make slight adjustments while holding your poses (e.g. same pose, but maybe just slightly needing to tilt your head more, straighten your back, fix your hair, bring up the camera for more white background space above head, etc.)
- Bring different outfits/theme colours! Sometimes certain outfits don’t look how you envisioned them, and you don’t realize until you’re already at your session - so it’s great having backup choices and different options to quickly change into!
- Cloud room tip: Some people like the all white outfits in the cloud room (which some turn out looking AMAZING!), but I personally like adding contrasting colours (dark, medium colours like black, denim, neutral toned clothes) - Depending on your skin tone sometimes by wearing too much white, and the brightness of the all white room, it can wash you out or appear too bright! (If you find your photos too bright or is washing out your complexion during your session, please don’t hesitate to inform the studio associate and they will adjust the brightness and camera settings for you!)
- Try your best to relax and just have fun!! ✨
